Anyone have the saddle in this peony color??? Do you know what color is on the inside? I was on the custom site thinking of adding some tea roses to it. I know it isn't as bright a pink as they originally came out with and think this one is a little more subtle.

I was surprised to see 'peony' in person since it was nothing close to what I imagined from the online photos. It's quite salmon-pink in person, at least in my eyes. It's not a light peachy neutral like the recent 'melon' color, but a darker salmon. And if you prefer having contrast lining, this colorway may overwhelm you with the salmon-pink.

P.S. I like the 2nd mock-up with the black/red tea roses out of the bunch. Customization is fun! But I wish they had more choices available online. In stores, they have other colors available than those shown on the web site. It also seems a lot of people have gotten custom placements as well depending on the location/specialist who assists you.

Ok, cool. It's not me then! It was such soft leather that I almost didn't think it could be leather!
It's funny that you'd say that about the earlier Dinkys. I have several. I love them all, even the newer ones. However, today I was using my gray western rivets 24 and I kept thinking how soft the leather was. I got it on eBay new with tags. It feels like it has been really well worn in but with no signs of wear if that makes sense. Just really soft and kind of flexible. I kept petting it! Haha!
I actually have the Rogue 25 in Primrose. I'm not a pink person either but this color called to me. I like the Oxblood interior. And general, I'm a warm color girl, so this was a departure for me. The fall line is usually what kills me, although nothing that I've seen so far coming up is grabbing my attention at all.

I couldn't pull the trigger on the saddle customization since I couldn't remember the peony color in person. I heard it is more of a melon pink. I also don't use the flax bag I have in this size too much. I wish it were a tiny bit bigger and then it would be perfect! I have to return a few items and maybe I'll get to see it IRL. I don't live anywhere close to where I can sit down and customize a bag so probably won't. I did order a clutch in sunflower with a few tea roses, though, so excited to see that when it arrives! I took a chance on a smaller item for the first go around.

Plus.....I've been going thru closets, etc and I don't need ANOTHER THING!!!! I need to purge things especially if I'm not wearing them any more. Funny how we tend to accumulate things. I was just putting my lR back together and now hating the chair I purchased at a vintage shop several years ago and never sat on. I guess I'll live with it for a while and then decide but at the moment I really want to put it on the curb. The only thing stopping me is the weather and it is super heavy with a metal base!

I could use an extra room just for my handbags! Handbags and coats are my downfall.

Ha! When all else fails check the tags! The coach tags on the side of the bag actually list the color of the bag. It's listed as Wildflower. I must say, the leather on this bag is soooooo good. It is so soft and smushy. I feel like it's actually softer and nicer than the leather on my newer saddlebags such as the burnished ones. Has anyone felt the same?

I don't know about the tea rose ones, since that's what I have in saddle 23, but I agree with the older saddle being nicer than the burnished! Saw the latter at my old FP store before I moved, and it's really not the same as my first edition saddle 35. That's why I was so sad they didn't release more colors for that size-there are supposedly color codes in true red, dahlia, and cornflower blue. Had they actually been produced I could buy all of them lol

Hi! Hope it’s alright to revive this thread [emoji4] I think I’ve decided to get my first saddle 23 before the Mother’s Day sale ends. I can’t decide between Burnished Saddle or Burnished Bordeaux. I saw in a previous post the strap on the Bordeaux looked red, but online it doesn’t look that way? Has it changed or is the online pictures off? I think if the strap is red that’ll sway me towards Saddle. Would those who have Saddle consider the color to be a more summer-y neutral than Bordeaux?

Thanks [emoji16]

EDIT: I realize that the post I was referring to showing a red strap was a Nordstrom exclusive. This makes the decision more difficult... [emoji28]

As a newish owner of the Saddle color, I am in love with this bag for spring and summer (and fall, it really feels like a 3-season bag). The Bordeaux is gorgeous but feels more fall/winter to me. Good luck making your decision, they are both stunning colors!

Sorry, I can't help, I don't have either of those colors. I've never seen either color in person, but from the photos that I have seen, both burnished colors are gorgeous.

Thanks [emoji4] I think the orange interior helps make it feel like summer. Going to pull the trigger! Can’t help it when they’re 30% off [emoji56]
