I'd love to see your future walk-in closet! That's also my dream, but for now I'll live vicariously through when it happens :smile1:

I went to the gym today and was pretty proud of myself for doing the routines. Wasn't easy but I completed everything. Baby steps.

If only we can be sure we'll receive the mugs in 1 piece, I would love to do a trade, hehe

Still have no time to take a pic of the H scarf. Will do soon.

Congrats on your new beautiful items! I love the monogram on the scarf. It looks luxurious! But did someone mention after 17 pairs of shoes, she doesn't need another one? :graucho: LOL!!! :roflmfao:

Thanks. And yes, I did not need an 18th pair, but I really like these and they're really comfy. :hnsnsn:
I'm terrible at bans. I really am. I don't plan on going to a NR after my price adjustments on Black Friday. I have to stay away from NR. I can resist a little better at the mall, but when it's a deal, it's hard to pass.

Regarding of cutting the content of my bag down, I've been wearing my Miss Dior for the second day now, here're the development of my bag content. :)

The first day. No going out. Just office work and normal mom's chores.

I have with me my schedule, my key pouch contain office's keys and condo keys, my just-found wallet, my 10-in-1 pen, my car key, and a pack of tissue paper.

The second day, normal day at the office and I think I need more sweet in life so I add a small pack of candies and a lip balm. I've been craving them so bad the first day. So, here they are. The second day content.

I have a cultural presentation at DD school tomorrow and plan to do the cooking with the kids, so I don't think I'll take my Miss Dior tomorrow. I think I'll just grab some tote or any bags that'll leave me hands free and just make sure the Miss won't be destroyed or happen to be in any accident. ;)

So far, I think if my schedule is nothing fancy. Just a normal day at the office, I can live with very little stuff. But if I have an outside meeting then, at least I'll need my extra battery and all the Jazz. Still, somehow I feel so naked stepping out with only these stuff into the world. Ah... The comfort of knowing you have everything. :)

I think you've done great in slimming your items down. How do you feel carrying less?

I feel super naked. I feel like I'm missing something and I may have to kick myself for not taking them with me. But I survive so far. :)

It's a big change that you may or may not need to get used to. I think there's a special spot between prepared & over packed and my neck hurts. Lol.

Remember my love for pouches? That's why I had so many, I needed to be prepared.
To remedy my aching neck and constant headaches, I began leaving key items where I needed them. Phone chargers in my car, DBF's car, at my desk, in my home. Pens/pencils in my car with a pad of paper, and transitioning to digital note keeping. Toiletries in my car and desk at work.

Yes, that means multiples of the same items stashed in pouches at key places, but at the same time, it's all not on my shoulder yet I'm still prepared.

Could this work for you? That way you still feel prepared but again, it's not all on your person. I know you have kids so it'll be a little harder as you do require to carry more than I do.

I have my charger everywhere. In my car, at the office, etc. Still, when I'm at the meeting, sometimes I need them. But that can be done on the event basis. :) I'm just a pack rat in this case. :)

I'm old fashion on note keeping. :( I do try to keep everything on my phone, but going without writing only for a day makes me crazy :( I just miss my notebook. No app ever makes me feel so carefree in writing as much as the real thing. I even tried buying a stylus that look just like a pencil just to give me the feeling. :(

I lives in 2 houses so I'm used to having things multiple. The peril is that I also want one of those on me when I'm outside. :) And I tends to sneak out a lot. ;) Like today, I wish I have a book with me so I can just read while waiting for DD. So, I decided to read some news online instead. But if I can choose, I'd rather get to finish another chapter on the book I'm reading now. I have a pile as high as me waiting. ;) When I'm not spend on bags and clothing items, I buy books. :)

But I'll try to be better at managing my schedule, even the sneak out time. [emoji16]

Been in my brown OS MAM for 2 days now. I miss it and seeing eehleers use hers reminded me that I have this beauty to take out for a spin [emoji4] The color looks a bit lighter because of the sunlight.

Went to gym today and used a cloth tote bag as my gym bag. It has a magnetic snap closure button and a small open pocket near the top. Good size to hold everything I need. It's a new gym and it's not really a big one. I didn't feel the need to use a locker; I just placed it somewhere near me and my gym buddies.

Beautiful MAM - the leather looks so smooshy and broken in and wonderful! :hbeat:

There are days where I miss some of the old school Minkoff beauties that I sold, like my Jade Matinee or my Gradient Wine MAB. Ultimately, I know they're getting more love and use than I could provide them, but boy...those older RM bags were just amazing!

I like writing on paper too, lol. I ultimate transfer everything to a planner/notebook at the end of the day at home. Helps me unwind.

And I hear you on books. Trying to tackle my book pile again.

And I feel so guilty, I'm looking at watches now. There's like 3 I like. Haha. So after the Herbag, a bag break is definitely warranted.

It's beautiful and it's unique from the bucket bags I've seen before. Does it hold a lot? I kinda miss my Petit Noe (Mono). I sold it bec. I was afraid to stain the bottom vachetta. Had the bottom been all mono, I might have kept it longer.
thanks! It does hold a lot, but because it doesn't open all the way around like the bucket bags with a drawstring, I have to be careful about some items - i.e. if I put a notebook in it, it cuts the space by half and then I have to put my other things on either side and it gets a bit fussy... does that make sense? haha

Way to cut down! I always wonder how guys walk around with nothing, and then try to copy that.. but it just doesn't work haha

I wish I could get away with a phone, wallet, and keys like DBF does when we go out. But for work, DBF's bag is heavy. He carries a ton of things to and from work.

Still in my Pochette Metis, which I'll carry through Black Friday since it's a secure bag and I will be in a crowded NR to get my price adjustment on all my stuff.

Anyone have any Black Friday plans? I'm almost done with Christmas shopping (a few gifts I need to get on Amazon). But none require me to go to the mall and to temptation haha.

Thanks! I took note from hubby. :) On his work day, he has only his car key, house key, work badge, wallet and his sun glasses. Sometimes, he take his laptop and some documents. With the latter, he needs his bag. On his weekends, he needs a bag, too. :) Coz he'll need his iPad, etc with him. I guess I should do the same. So far, I still feel awkward and naked without all the stuff to keep me at peace, but my shoulders love me more. :)

I think I have this issue, too. :) When my obsession on one thing dwindle down, it peak up on another thing. :) Makeup and Skin care, Jewelry, Bags, Clothes. But this days, I'm trying to keep it all under control though. I've been thinking of the project that we did and try to take my lesser-use bag to the test and seriously shop and getting rid of stuff in my closet. :) Maybe you can try this with shoes? ;)

Well, I actually bought a lot more and wear lots of accessories before I got pregnant. Having a baby changes my style. I used to wear lots of jewelry and accessories, scarf, necklaces, bracelets, etc. Kind of very hippie and boho something if there's a name for it. Now, I wear only a ring on my left ring finger. (Not even a wedding ring coz mine has a high set for the diamond. I wear quite a plain ring.) I just recently started piling on small silver bracelets again. You're planing to get married, right? Maybe this is the time to have fun and experiment? I had DD soon after I got married so it's like I have to stop wearing them. (Baby and accessories don't mix well. It can snag or pull, etc. Plus, I don't think it's very hygienic for both parties. :) ) Maybe it's the subconscious? ;)

We will have a firework festival this weekend. I plan to take DD to see. I'm so envy you all on the States side that have so many deals this year. Well, but with all the shipping and import duties, I don't think it'll worth for me. However, I have a watch on a couple of old Disney DVD on the Bay and I hope the sellers will offer a good deal on them this weekend.

Yesterday I took my Mother christmas shopping. The outlets already have sale prices. She bought for all my family and anyone else she had to buy for except me. I told her I did not want any clothes or gadgets . We happen to be in front of skagen so we went in . She bought me the nicest steel grey with black handles mikkeline bag. It is super soft smooth leather. It is something very different from the very structured bags I have. Now I feel like a little kid who can't wait till christmas to get it. Now I need to focus on making more room in my closet before then.

I would like to see that bag when you get her!! I hope somebody would ask me what I want as a gift. :D

Sales are starting there now! I'm both glad and sad that we don't have those big sales as I will surely go crazy. :graucho:

Btw, I got my Massaccesi Midi Soulmate bag in black merinos. Empty it weighs 2.16 lbs according to my luggage scale. And with all my stuff it's almost 6 lbs. Will post a pic in a while. It is possible to reduce the 2.16 lbs by a few oz if you request that the bag be made without the middle compartment.

I'll try to keep it under control. Lol. I definitely need to think about what I have already and just use it up. I will be avoiding NR after my price adjustments. I will think about returning the Burberry flats.

A firework festival sounds awesome.

How fun! Pretty much sales start the weekend before Thanksgiving, so there's really no need for black Friday unless you're going for an advertised deal.

Can't wait to see your new bag!

Here is the last of my 4 October purchases. My black merinos Midi Soulmate by Massaccesi.

I have actually not posted my 3rd of 4 October purchasea. Marc Jacobs Rita in black. All my October buys were black (the other 2 are the Linea Pelle and Christian Dior bags). Don't know how this happened. [emoji4]
