2015 resolution - shopping from my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Need your opinion on a bag. I have in my cart a Rebecca Minkoff Fiona bucket bag. What are thoughts on this? Do you think the strap will be to thin and hurt? What I like is it has feet and a hand carry option as well as slip and zip pockets within . What scares me is having to order it on line and the strap?

That's a tough call, it's it's really cute bag. I think the only way you'll find out is by trying it and not just abou hurting, but I find shoulde straps to be an iffy thing (for mysel a least) because sometimes they just slip righ off and other bags, they'll stay on my shoulder. And if this strap isn't right for you, ar you happy with just carrying it by the short strap?

As for the bags, I want to get a Balenciaga Town but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do so. If you can remember, that bag is my motivation and reward for losing weight but I'm still far from my weight loss goal after gaining back and it's already November

And honestly, even if I have received a new wallet, I am still thinking of getting a new one from LV. I've been very indecisive about it because I'm not sure which one to get with all the new styles that are coming out. I just got set to get the Zippy Compact Wallet NM (only available in Mono now) and talked to DH 2 days ago that I'll wait for him to return home January next year so he can accompany me to the store but then I've read today somewhere in the LV subforum that that wallet will come out in DE sometime in April! Argh!!! Can I still wait? I don't really know.

The zippy only comes in mono now? I also came in de before right? Or was I dreaming? Haha

I have to be, I just realized it's just 40+ days til Christmas and I haven't bought any gifts yet. And thanks to my salary (from the online job I just said buh-bye to), I was able to buy these gifts with what I can truly call my own money. I felt really good! (but of course, no regrets leaving it either )

I have to get two more gifts for my cousins before I can say I'm done.
I typically just give family gifts, like pies/cakes to DBF's family, my family, and my Aunt's family.
Between friends, it's random, but usually very cheap so I'm okay doing a last minute thing for them.

I think I'm going to go complete my Christmas shopping this week. Haha. I really dislike Christmas shopping crowds, unless I'm buying something for me.

Zippy NM. The new model is an accordian zip wallet, rather than one that opened flat.
It hasn't come in DE for the NM.

It's like 4 months until my trip to London, and I'm getting so antsy. I want to go on vacation already! Haha. Work is just so tiring, it's gloomy here. I know we need the rain, but even though, it still dampens the mood.

And I've decided I want the Capucines and Herbag when I'm in London. So I'm super excited to go conduct my search. haha. I also have all these attractions planned! Like Highclere Castle (anyone Downton Abbey fans?) and there's new cars for Bond in Motion! Oh, and tea at Fortnum & Mason!

Basically, I just want to be on vacation already and not want to do anymore overtime.

Unfortunately, I can't go. They open beginning Easter. Kinda bummed. I was waiting for them to post their Spring dates, but it's very limited in the Spring it seems.

Gotta check for Hampton Court Palace and Blechley Park now. And figure out an alternative since Highclere was to take a whole day (2.5hr trip out of London one way).

I think I have decided to pass on the bucket bag. It is a fantastic price, but not buying it in person kind of bugs me. Their return policy is great but they are over an hour away . So what I will do if they are still on sale at the end of the week and they still have some I might check it out in person then if I have time.

Also, on my first trip to London, we went around to places Sherlock and Watson went to. Haha. So close to going to St. Bartholomew. The Christmas one isn't going to be enough.

I also love Selfridges, but I kept missing it on PBS, so I'm waiting till season 3 is on Amazon prime. The outside of the store is absolutely gorgeous. The clock at the main entrance is so pretty! And the window displays! Great service except for the designer boutiques, or I got the mean people at LV and H. I'm going to make an effort to eat at the restaurant at the rooftop this year.

I'm planning to see if Spencer house is open. I love all these elegant places, there aren't many of them in LA.

I just finished season 2 of Selfridges and waiting for season 3 to come on netflix. Such a sad season 2 ending. Luckily the special episode of Sherlock is in January 2016, but still.. not enough - i just finished watching the whole series a second time haha

Here is the little canvas bag my Dad picked up for me . I think it will fit a small water bottle, paper back, granola bars , my glasses , phone and a small wallet. It has two slip pockets outside under the flap and a zip pocket on the flap. I think it will make a good sport events bag.
