I am now preparing my newly arrived red bag for Monday and guess what I realized, it somehow fits my description of the bag I would design - structured (though this is not as structured as I envisioned, but structured nevertheless), 2 zipper pulls at the top and longer zipper track extending about 3 inches on each side. No wonder I love this MJ 54!

And, I don't know if I embarassed myself, I asked the sister in law of my sister if I could hold her Givenchy Pandora. :graucho: I went home to my hometown for a day trip to attend a baby shower for my niece. And there was this beautiful blue Pandora. I saw this in the store, but I was more interested in the Antigona so I snobbed this. But this year, when my Anya Hindmarch maxi zip satchel did not work for me because of the weight, I thought about the Pandora again and how it would be right for trips since it can be carried as crossbody as well. I'm not really close to my sister's SIL but we chat briefly when we see each other on family gatherings. Btw, a report on the Pandora, I could not assess if it was heavy on its own since the bag I held was full. But leather was great!!

Congrats on getting your dream bag! :) I met a friend over this weekend. (I have to pick up something I asked her to get for me. It's not bag, I promise. ;) ) And she was wearing a YSL SDJ. I asked if I can touch the leather, too. ;) This friend knows how crazy I am with my bags. She just laughed and handed her bag to me. ;)

Hi guys! Finally I'm back!!! I MISS YOU ALL!!! :tender:

I don't know where to start and I haven't read any posts yet as I want to say Hello first to everyone here. I've been MIA for just a little over a month but it felt like forever. Anyway, I owe some of you with replies regarding my last posts, and I will be doing that in a while. Let me just share why I was MIA for the past month.

The reason was I got a full-time online job as a web researcher. I was happy about it because finally after 9 years of being a SAHM, I was doing "office work" again, in the convenience of my own home. The starting pay was ok and it will increase over time (like the usual). BUT since I was new to the job, I spent the whole day working and found little to no time to take care of my kids especially DD (who's 3 years old). I even work overtime! I felt guilty about it. I know over time I will be able to master my skills and be faster in doing the tasks assigned for the day but then I thought, my kids need me more than anyone else especially now that they are in their formative years (DS is in Grade 1 now). And so, after carefully thinking things over, I decided to let go of my job but I told myself that I will search for a new one but it should just be part-time or an hourly rate job. At first, I thought I was going to regret it but when I was back on spending my day preparing my DS for school, playing with and teaching my DD, running errands at any time of the day on a weekday, and having some more free time to do other things, I was sure that I made the right decision. A new job will surely come my way but I won't be able to turn back the time to the days I missed out being with my kids when they needed me the most. (Of course, I'm just speaking for myself. To each his/her own). And so I'm back! :yahoo:

So... as for the comments made on my last post about my mini bags, thank you so much for all the nice comments especially on the Furla and Ungaro bags. Also, to those who I owe pictures of the bag and wallet that my cousin (from Dubai) gifted me, I'll share the pictures shortly. They are not designer brands but nevertheless looks good (at least to me ;)) and functional. I used the bag like 2 weeks straight and I've been using the wallet until now. And I'm happy to report that in the past month I was not active here, I've just been shopping my own closet, been rotating my bags and wallets and have uncovered an old bag which I've totally forgotten about. I sold a small bag (it was just a cheapo one but at least I got rid of it) and I'm hopeful to list more bags and make sales before Christmas.

Now, I'm excited to read what you all have been posting! :amuse:

Here are my cousin's "pasalubong" for me: (I took the photos a month ago but never got the chance to post them.)

I'm unsure what they call the bag's cloth material. I think it looks best worn during summer days.

Then the wallet, Tchibo medium leather wallet (French wallet style):

Its package says it's a German brand (but I think not necessarily German-made) but it smells sooo good until now that it's been with me for over a month! I've never had a leather bag or wallet that smells sweet! No kidding! It has tons of card slots which I love! If only LV will make a French Wallet NM just like this, I would buy it! :D

The 2 together:

And here's the bag I've "unearthed" while cleaning up. It's a Rafē New York leather bag I bought pre-loved from a friend. I love its hardware. That made me buy it. But I'm actually contemplating if I should just sell it since it's a top handle and you know me, not really a top handle kind of gal :)

Welcome back and good luck on your sales!

So Buffalo was a miss for me, I went to sell and there was a long line to sell. Everyone had huge plastic bins full of stuff to sell, so I didn't want to wait. I'll try again next weekend. But DBF took the bag of stuff I wanted to sell to see if his family was interested in anything before I try Buffalo again. Either way, this stuff will be out by the end of the month

I've been wearing my mon monogram Neverfull, but I'll change to my Bally tote today. :)

It's been crazy pouring rain here so taking that opportunity to turn my frown upside down with some tokidoki and weather appropriate nylon from lesportsac. I usually carry these for weekends and travel as they aren't too suitable for the office haha

Thanks Bake! :) I love your NF Mon Monogram. Love the color combo! I wish we also have consignment shops like Buffalo Exchange. That way, I can try sending my unwanted stuff there first before listing on our local eBay. We do have some but they mostly buy and sell luxury bags and watches and are far from my place. Anyway, good luck too! :)

Been up early as I drove DS to school and went early morning Christmas shopping for my coffee addict family members [emoji477]️[emoji477]️[emoji477]️. I bought my Coach pebbled ziparound wallet, perfect grab and go as it can also house my mobile phone.

It was also raining quite a bit here. Good thing I had a good breakfast to keep me happy despite the rain [emoji4]

Hello! Been absent from the thread for a few days and currently catching up on what I missed. I'm still in the process of unpacking, but I finally unearthed my camera! Also been putting more effort into writing and updating my blog.

The weather has improved, so I switched from my monogram Coach to my mini rockie. I love the original rocco and rockie, but they were much too heavy for quotidian use whereas the mini the perfect size/weight for me.

Tokidoki designs are too cute! I remember I wanted one so badly when Lesportsac first released the line. I don't have any of the bags, but I did own a couple of makeup palettes back when Tokidoki collaborated with Sephora on a cosmetics line.

Welcome back LVintage! Glad you have a bit of time now for tpf. Your breakfast looked yummy!! I like this Rafe bags, reminds me so much of a Cole Haan bag I had.

A cute bag for a rainy day! It was raining also here a while back. I am not prepared for it, I am wearing my new red MJ bag. Hope when I come out from work, there is no downpour. I can get wet but not my leather bags! :graucho:

I also had a baby Rocco so I know what you mean about weight. This mini Rockie sure does have beautiful pebbly leather! :smile1:

thanks for the tokidoki love, but sadly, tomorrow is monday, so back to my 'grown-up' bags haha. Hope everyone had a great weekend. *side note* I wonder why we haven't been asked to start a new thread since we've exceed 10,000 posts.
