Got my M0851 all loaded and ready to go out , when the school called to say they were closed due to severe icing of the roads. So home I stay and thought I would at least take a shot of it since it was all packed and ready to go.

So gorgeous, that leather looks beyond amazing dc!

I'm so sorry dear Jen for your loss :( I too am a pet lover especially of dogs, and I'd cry buckets of tears whenever one had to go to dog heaven. I'm an only child and, with no sisters nor brothers, my pet dogs were my constant companions esp. when I was growing up. I loved them as though they were my own flesh and blood.

Get well soon Jenny. Big hugs to you and your kids...

Thank you so much LVintage, it means a lot :)

So two bags will be out this month!

I gave away my Coach Madeline to my mom. I felt I had too many crossbody bags, and with my love for the others, the Madeline won't get much love. It had a cpw of $5.35. Not bad, since I got it for $150 (50% off) and wore it for 28 days.

And tomorrow I'll be returning the Ferragamo clutch to Nordstrom Rack.

1SLG out, I'm giving away my Fossil passport case, since my pocket agenda holds everything for me. Quite nifty.

Awesome job bake!!

I would love to quote everyone but that would be impossible so I'd just like to say congratulations to those who were able to shop their own closets the past few weeks. And also congrats on the new purchases and may you use them in good health.

So, I've been so busy at home lately and I'm just able to post today. I miss you guys and welcome to those new to this wonderful thread :) I've been shopping my own closet as well and I'm glad to say that I've triumphed over this urge to buy another wallet. I haven't found my perfect wallet and I was eyeing this LV Sarah wallet on ebay but I kept hearing a "voice" saying to me "You have a lot of wallets already, you don't need a new one!" The wallet is such a great deal but I set the thought aside many times. I think the wallet had been relisted 3x before I finally convinced myself that I'm not going to buy it. If I want a new wallet, then I should sell an old one. Not buy first then sell. That's not me anymore. At least for now :)

Health-wise, I rejoined our zumba group in our village and this morning, I joined them do zumba! I feel my muscles ache now as it had been half a year since I stopped. I am also currently looking for a female personal trainer so I can do serious gym workouts. I finished the 30-day squat challenge but that is not enough for me. I really need to be religious in my gym workouts and diet. My motivations -- my family esp. my little kids (I want to be a healthy mom to them so I can run after them without catching my breath!) and a new handbag once I lose weight. I have a target weight and if I meet that, I'll buy myself a nice purse by 2016.

Also part of my resolution is to limit my time in my internet use and that means I have to visit my favorite sites like tPF on just a weekly basis. I have other goals in my life and I need to focus on them more so they can materialize. A weekly dose of tPF is better than not having any time for this at all. I need my purse fix from time to time and I find it here :)

Sorry for the long post. Hope we all achieve our goals this year. And btw, here's what I've been carrying around for 3 days already -- my dark brown RM MAM with a vintage Gucci bag charm :)

Good for you!! Committing to working out is hard but you can do it!! Plus you'll just feel so much better :) good luck with zumba and finding a personal trainer, I hope you aren't sore for long :)

Gorgeous MAM I love the dark brown!!

Good job walking away! There have been a few times when I've done a second walk by with the RLL stuff on sale! So cute and on sale. Almost hard to resist!

Egg- Great job stepping away from the RLL tote.

Oh my gosh I don't think I could have done that for 60 plus 20 %! You are strong! Wow congratulations on the strength dear!

Great job!!
Thanks guys - I'm still thinking about the bag a bit this morning haha, but I won't go back for it. It's a beautiful turquoise color and a great deal, but I have a tote in blues with a longer drop that seems to be more comfortable when I wear my winter coat, so I think I will not think about it anymore. Does any one find that the north-west totes have a longer drop than east-west totes? Or is that just me... I find east-west is harder to just throw on my shoulder, takes some maneuvering.

The leather on this Mam looks so yummy.

DC - that's a killer bag!! Is it heavy?

LV - love the bag!!! You have some of the best MAMs!!!

It is weight wise but for some reason does not hurt me. It might be the wide width of the crossbody strap. It does have a leather organizer pocket , but it does not have a separate cloth liner. It is just the other side of the leather which is a beautiful smooth suede. It is incredibly well made smells so good. I think because it does not have a ton of hardware it stays comfortable for me.

So going back to the storage issue...

I keep certain bags locked up with my jewelry. I keep most of them in my closet, which isn't a problem because they don't take a lot of space. But now I have 16 bags and two of them are LPs I can't fold. And my Keychain collection has exploded.

So any suggestions on storage? I can't get a cabinet or anything. I have the lone shelf on top of the clothes rod in my standard closet that I can clear up and use. But tossing them up there means that they can fall or slip off.

Should I get boxes or something to corral them before putting them on the shelf?

Any suggestions for my keychains?

I'm home!

And apparently once home I wake up at my normal 4am time. Or I have really bad jet lag. Not sure.

Here's all my shopping pics, London pics and clothes I'll post on my Stylebook thread.

First picture at Hermes New Bond Street with my wrapped up Evelyne.

Pic from Christmas unboxing! It's so vibrant and soft.

Then the next day was Boxing Day, so I went through the madness at Longchamp and picked up these two.

And my lovely Burberry bag that accompanied me throughout my trip. It did so well and if anyone needs a small sized crossbody that fits a water bottle, camera, full sized bottle of Tylenol, hand sanitizer, phone, and a battery pack, this fits the bill. My pocket agenda wallet fit perfectly inside the zipped pocket, which gave me extra security. The slip pockets held my glasses cleaning cloth and fitbit, the other with an iPhone cable and battery charge pack.

I picked up sooo much stuff. It's insane.

Ferragamo got me, at the U.S. duty free! I picked up a hair clip.
Then the Ferragamo sales at New Bond Street landed me a pair of flats and the cutest mini bag keychain. (I'm liking mini bags. Sooo tempting to collect them)

Chanel!
The items at Chanel New Bond Street sale didn't appeal much to me.
So I picked up a brooch and a tie for DBF. We didn't even know they made ties!

And I also had a little fun at duty free. Though a bummer part was that I didn't know you could only claim your VAT 4 hours prior to your flight so I didn't get as much shopping time as I thought in duty free.

Though I haven't unboxed those yet. Haha. Got some little things at Mulberry, LV, and Burberry.

Still have some British pounds left. Lol. Surprising tbh, considering the damage I did.

And I'm banned till my birthday. Help me stay on track, please!

Welcome back bake! Yay, for getting Evelyne and all your other gorgeous things!

Don't know how you came home with British pounds!

I promise to try to keep you on track, but it is hard for me to discourage someone from buying, if they make a good case for it. Lol!

I didn't really want to post a "woe is me" post but I seriously think 2015 wants to kick my butt. First the car battery dies, which isn't really that big of a deal, but then yesterday our we had to put our dog down, we knew it was coming because she had been diagnosed with nasal tumors in mid December but she went down hill so fast.

She was fine on Tuesday and then yesterday morning she seemed to not be doing so good, and once we got home from work we new we had to take her in. Her eyes were swollen shut and she could barely move. The poor thing :( but she is in a better place now and not in any more pain. We had her for 9 years and it is so weird that she is just gone now. Her collar and leash are still sitting on the stairs and I just get so sad when I look at them.

This morning I woke up and I have a throat infection again, so back to the doctor after work.

Phew, I am really a Debbie downer today, but I feel a bit better being able to talk about it. I guess on the plus side, all of this going on hasn't made me want to buy any new bags haha.

Thanks for letting me vent ladies :)

I am so sorry JennyErin about the loss of your dear dog. I am glad she is no longer suffering. You have been having a rough patch; I hope you feel better soon. Take care and don't ever worry about venting. That's what friends are for; and you're always such a positive presence on this thread.

Jenny - very sorry for your loss. I understand exactly how you feel - walking in, expecting to see a familiar furry face...I too am heartbroken today. I had to let Norton go this morning. He was one of my first rescue cats. Four years ago he lost the use of his back legs and against the advice of my original vet, I refused to put him to sleep. Instead, I changed vets and after months of doing everything for Norton, there was that miracle when he started to walk again. So he had four extra happy, healthy years with me. That doesn't help me right now when I am in pieces and can't stop the tears, but I know at some point I will remember him with smiles.
This is one of the last photos.

My condolences, clevercat. How wonderful that he had an additional 4 years in your loving home. He looks like a sweet kitty.

hey everyone! wow, i can't keep up w this thread, but i'm thrilled there's so much support to help us all stick to our resolutions. :D

for those who recently lost a furry loved one, JennyErin, clevercat, i'm sooo sorry. sending you my thoughts and prayers. *hug* our dog (just turned 5) is the apple of my eye, and for now, i'm going to live in denial that she's not immortal. i'm just going to enjoy every day i have w her and not think that far ahead. she's the first pet of any kind that my husband and i have had, so we're really attached.

thanks for posting all of the pictures! i love seeing the bags, SLGs, bag contents, etc.

since i was feeling a bit restless, i changed out my wallet (which only happens about once/year? LOL) to a longer slim MJ leather metallic rose gold zippered clutch (from a smaller MJ french style wallet). MJ wallets are workhorses! i've got 3 total and they can all take a beating. i don't baby my wallets at all and tend to use the same one daily for a LONG time. i'll post a pic when i get a chance.

as for storage, how about buying those hanging clothes organizers? i use one of them for some of my purses.

if you only have the top shelf above a closet rod, how about these shelf dividers? i was thinking about buying some to help keep my folded clothing stacks neat.

This is it! The last purchase until 2016! My Timeless needed a companion! Here to stay for a bit!

This is a beauty CornishMon! Love the pink lining!

And with this post, I admit defeat. I am hopelessly behind on this thread. In my defense I caught a bug like many others have.

Although one of my resolutions is to eat better/cleaner; I will confess I am off to find a candy bar I have. It is my current favorite; Ritter milk chocolate with whole hazelnuts.

I basically couldn't spent all my VAT refund. Lol.

Discourage me until my birthday!!!

I have to go back to yesterday night's location again and will have to cut through the Bay. I hope that RLL bag isn't still there... I pulled away once.... second time may not be so lucky =S

Ooh! I could use this on my cheapy shelves where I stack my clothes too! Great idea.
