Jenny - sorry to hear about Koda.
Clevercat - sorry to hear about Norton.

Bake - what a haul!
CornishMon - great new piece to add your wonderful collection!!

Today, I shopped my closet. This has not been used for a while. I missed its wonderful leather smell!! My Wine MAM. Lighting is not so good. Color is a lot more vivid and even irl.

It is very beautiful bag and color!

Has Minkoff changed recently? Whenever I see her bags in the store they never seem to be the pretty ones I see in this forum.

Got my M0851 all loaded and ready to go out , when the school called to say they were closed due to severe icing of the roads. So home I stay and thought I would at least take a shot of it since it was all packed and ready to go.

I didn't really want to post a "woe is me" post but I seriously think 2015 wants to kick my butt. First the car battery dies, which isn't really that big of a deal, but then yesterday our we had to put our dog down, we knew it was coming because she had been diagnosed with nasal tumors in mid December but she went down hill so fast.

She was fine on Tuesday and then yesterday morning she seemed to not be doing so good, and once we got home from work we new we had to take her in. Her eyes were swollen shut and she could barely move. The poor thing :( but she is in a better place now and not in any more pain. We had her for 9 years and it is so weird that she is just gone now. Her collar and leash are still sitting on the stairs and I just get so sad when I look at them.

This morning I woke up and I have a throat infection again, so back to the doctor after work.

Phew, I am really a Debbie downer today, but I feel a bit better being able to talk about it. I guess on the plus side, all of this going on hasn't made me want to buy any new bags haha.

Thanks for letting me vent ladies :)

I'm so sorry dear Jen for your loss :( I too am a pet lover especially of dogs, and I'd cry buckets of tears whenever one had to go to dog heaven. I'm an only child and, with no sisters nor brothers, my pet dogs were my constant companions esp. when I was growing up. I loved them as though they were my own flesh and blood.

Get well soon Jenny. Big hugs to you and your kids...

And the LV comics bandeau.

So DBF got me the bandeau, because one day we went to the RAF museum. We had other things planned that day, usually his pick and her pick. We didn't get to my pick. We ended up spending 5 hours at the museum and I'm pretty fast at reading and looking so I was done in half that. I spent the other half waiting, so long that I was starving and the museum was closing. The cafe only sold pastries too, so I couldn't get anything substantial while waiting.

So he promised me a scarf for being patient.

Then it happened again at the Imperial War Museum, so I apparently earned myself a second scarf. Another 5 hours, plus walks in the rain to and from the museum. I got sick this day, so I guess he felt guilty. Lol.

But, he got his treats too. I got him a suit at his favorite shop, and started getting his year gifts, the Chanel tie and the LV tie clip. :) and while waiting at the RAF museum I was doing all the kitschy souvenir things, like the pressed pennies and kids activities (all of which he somehow missed) so he was thrilled with the coloring book and pressed pennies of his favorite planes.

Love your haul! You have such a wonderful vacation! And ooh, pressed pennies! I love those too! My favorite was the one I got at the Tower Bridge :D

Dc stay safe! We may even get snow in TX tomorrow, which would shut down the whole town if it happened, lol

It is very beautiful bag and color!

I didn't really know RM before joining TPF either. Excepting a really cool red studded RM bag that I saw in a consignment shop (price was higher than I wanted to pay for a preloved RM) I haven't been excited about the ones I've seen in stores either. Where are these unicorn MAM & MAB bags hiding? I'd love to investigate one in person after admiring the ones here!

This is it! The last purchase until 2016! My Timeless needed a companion! Here to stay for a bit!

Great job of shopping in your closet! Such a beautiful bag!

That's gooooorgeous, congrats! Btw, saw your collection in the showcase thread - beautiful.

I ALMOST caved just now but I did NOT - bag in question was a east-west torquise RLL tote at 60% off plus additional 25%. I walked WITH it but then I just walked-away. So relieved!

Good job walking away! There have been a few times when I've done a second walk by with the RLL stuff on sale! So cute and on sale. Almost hard to resist!

So two bags will be out this month!

I gave away my Coach Madeline to my mom. I felt I had too many crossbody bags, and with my love for the others, the Madeline won't get much love. It had a cpw of $5.35. Not bad, since I got it for $150 (50% off) and wore it for 28 days.

And tomorrow I'll be returning the Ferragamo clutch to Nordstrom Rack.

1SLG out, I'm giving away my Fossil passport case, since my pocket agenda holds everything for me. Quite nifty.

Jenny - very sorry for your loss. I understand exactly how you feel - walking in, expecting to see a familiar furry face...I too am heartbroken today. I had to let Norton go this morning. He was one of my first rescue cats. Four years ago he lost the use of his back legs and against the advice of my original vet, I refused to put him to sleep. Instead, I changed vets and after months of doing everything for Norton, there was that miracle when he started to walk again. So he had four extra happy, healthy years with me. That doesn't help me right now when I am in pieces and can't stop the tears, but I know at some point I will remember him with smiles.
This is one of the last photos.

Hi Clevercat! So sorry for your loss too.. I know how you and Jenny are feeling right now. It's really hard to let go of our dear ones, even our pets who we treat as family. Hang in there and hope Norton brings back the smile on your face whenever you remember your cherished moments with him..

I would love to quote everyone but that would be impossible so I'd just like to say congratulations to those who were able to shop their own closets the past few weeks. And also congrats on the new purchases and may you use them in good health.

So, I've been so busy at home lately and I'm just able to post today. I miss you guys and welcome to those new to this wonderful thread :) I've been shopping my own closet as well and I'm glad to say that I've triumphed over this urge to buy another wallet. I haven't found my perfect wallet and I was eyeing this LV Sarah wallet on ebay but I kept hearing a "voice" saying to me "You have a lot of wallets already, you don't need a new one!" The wallet is such a great deal but I set the thought aside many times. I think the wallet had been relisted 3x before I finally convinced myself that I'm not going to buy it. If I want a new wallet, then I should sell an old one. Not buy first then sell. That's not me anymore. At least for now :)

Health-wise, I rejoined our zumba group in our village and this morning, I joined them do zumba! I feel my muscles ache now as it had been half a year since I stopped. I am also currently looking for a female personal trainer so I can do serious gym workouts. I finished the 30-day squat challenge but that is not enough for me. I really need to be religious in my gym workouts and diet. My motivations -- my family esp. my little kids (I want to be a healthy mom to them so I can run after them without catching my breath!) and a new handbag once I lose weight. I have a target weight and if I meet that, I'll buy myself a nice purse by 2016.

Also part of my resolution is to limit my time in my internet use and that means I have to visit my favorite sites like tPF on just a weekly basis. I have other goals in my life and I need to focus on them more so they can materialize. A weekly dose of tPF is better than not having any time for this at all. I need my purse fix from time to time and I find it here :)

Sorry for the long post. Hope we all achieve our goals this year. And btw, here's what I've been carrying around for 3 days already -- my dark brown RM MAM with a vintage Gucci bag charm :)
