Thank you so much for sharing! I love the pattern on your organizer as well ❤️ Do you think it would fit inside a Speedy 25 at its smallest or would that be pushing it?

The one I bought is a collaboration Gucci did with Unicef in 2010. I just kept googling "Unicef Sukey" & eventually landed on mine. They do pop up with decent regularity preloved if you decide that you're allowed to hunt one down eventually 👍

http://www.gucci.com/us/worldofgucci/articles/unicef-2010

I love the Sukey bc it's essentially a satchel handle version of the Mahina XS which converts shoulder to crossbody. Really similar in dimensions, squashy shape & the intangible "Mary Poppins" property of being able to fit a ton of stuff despite the fact it's a medium size purse. I wish I could post a side by side pic for you but the PF app isn't letting me post pix today, wah wah...
Thanks! It's good to know for future =)

The last two days were competition days and my little dooney was fantastic. It has more room than a wristlet but it is almost the size of one. So if you are looking for a small bag for those places you just do not want to take your more precious bags, you might want to check out the nylon small barrel bag from Dooney & Bourke. I only paid 59.00 dollars at tj maxx for it. The little thing even has a zip pocket where I put my keys to keep from scratching both of my glasses. The slip pocket I put score sheets. The only thing within I did not use was the key leash. I am even happier because it fits with my clutches and wristlets and does not take up space in my handbag area. Sorry the rant it is just so rare that something works out this well.
Love hearing when something works for someone, and all the details as to why! =)

I'm home!

And apparently once home I wake up at my normal 4am time. Or I have really bad jet lag. Not sure.

Here's all my shopping pics, London pics and clothes I'll post on my Stylebook thread.

First picture at Hermes New Bond Street with my wrapped up Evelyne.

Pic from Christmas unboxing! It's so vibrant and soft.

Then the next day was Boxing Day, so I went through the madness at Longchamp and picked up these two.

And my lovely Burberry bag that accompanied me throughout my trip. It did so well and if anyone needs a small sized crossbody that fits a water bottle, camera, full sized bottle of Tylenol, hand sanitizer, phone, and a battery pack, this fits the bill. My pocket agenda wallet fit perfectly inside the zipped pocket, which gave me extra security. The slip pockets held my glasses cleaning cloth and fitbit, the other with an iPhone cable and battery charge pack.

I picked up sooo much stuff. It's insane.

Ferragamo got me, at the U.S. duty free! I picked up a hair clip.
Then the Ferragamo sales at New Bond Street landed me a pair of flats and the cutest mini bag keychain. (I'm liking mini bags. Sooo tempting to collect them)

Chanel!
The items at Chanel New Bond Street sale didn't appeal much to me.
So I picked up a brooch and a tie for DBF. We didn't even know they made ties!

And I also had a little fun at duty free. Though a bummer part was that I didn't know you could only claim your VAT 4 hours prior to your flight so I didn't get as much shopping time as I thought in duty free.

Though I haven't unboxed those yet. Haha. Got some little things at Mulberry, LV, and Burberry.

Still have some British pounds left. Lol. Surprising tbh, considering the damage I did.

And I'm banned till my birthday. Help me stay on track, please!
congrats, these are amazing purchases!! and welcome home!

Wow, this thread is moving so fast!!! Got to catch up, but first... I'll show y'all what I've been carrying all week. The kiddos went back to school, so I am back with my carpool companion... LV pochette.
so happy that you were able to find a use for this c'uz she's a cutie!

bakeacookie, so pretty! The color of the Hermes bag is just beautiful!

I'm three weeks off shopping today - yay! I had a real challenge this morning when a Coach bag I had really wanted went on sale. Two things helped me to say no and move on:

1. I read on a blog (I forget which one now!) recently that intense feelings like fear, anger, desire, etc, only tend to remain at maximum intensity for about a minute. If you can spend that minute trying to calm yourself down (deep breathing) or even just resisting stress activities (for me, eating or shopping), you can get yourself through the worst of it.

2. I really wanted the Coach bag because I think it's beautiful, and I don't think I'm beautiful right now. A lot of my shopping reflects this impulse - buy something that I think will mask my lack of beauty or happiness. The next time that I buy fashion items, I want to feel beautiful before I have them, not *because* I have them. The only way to get to that point is to get myself healthier, inside and out!
way to go! That's awesome. I'm one week in with no shopping whatsoever except for daily living stuff =)

Jenny - very sorry for your loss. I understand exactly how you feel - walking in, expecting to see a familiar furry face...I too am heartbroken today. I had to let Norton go this morning. He was one of my first rescue cats. Four years ago he lost the use of his back legs and against the advice of my original vet, I refused to put him to sleep. Instead, I changed vets and after months of doing everything for Norton, there was that miracle when he started to walk again. So he had four extra happy, healthy years with me. That doesn't help me right now when I am in pieces and can't stop the tears, but I know at some point I will remember him with smiles.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your sweet baby  I lost my sweet kitty in mid-December. She was a rescue too and I didn't think that I would ever stop crying. I'm still sad, but I've gotten back to being able to function day to day. Remembering Norton with smiles will come with time I'm sure. Those kitties really root themselves into our hearts though, I totally understand :hugs:

Someone mentioned purse organizers. I need one for my Evelyne since its unlined. Right now I'm using a reusable canvas tote from Tate Modern. It seems to work alright for now, but I kind of want something that will be better.

Which brands of purse organizers do you all use, if you use one. Pros? cons?

ETA: someone mentioned using the toiletry 26 inside the Evelyne. I'll try that out.

What a handsome guy! Love his eyes. I am so very sorry for your loss. This seems to be a very tough day all around .

I don't really have any on my phone right now except for this one where she wouldn't leave me alone when I was pregnant haha. Not the greatest pic but it does bring back some happy memories :) I was really pregnant so don't mind my swollen feet and ankles.

She stuck to me like glue in the tail end haha. Awww now I really need the tissues! Thank you guys for letting me share :) I should probably add her name was Koda. She was such a good dog!

This is perfect because it shows how much she loved you. Koda looks like a real beauty.

As far as Lou 's question about resolutions so far so good. I have been eatting better. I started working on uncluttering my sons closet. Exercising not so good . I have not been feeling so well but still going out till today , hopefully a day of rest will help. I hate being sick and keep over doing it .

For keeping up with resolutions, I think I am doing good, I haven't really bought anything I didn't need (replaced some make up items that I had run out of) and I went to the gym on Tuesday, that really kicked my butt though, but it was great to be back in the gym and running. Going again hopefully on Sunday.

Hubby really wants to get away to Mexico just the two of us in March, maybe some of our friends too, so I have to start tanning again to build up a base tan, I am extremely pale and burn very fast and very badly so base tanning helps. Is it weird to make that a resolution, to tan for a trip? I personally don't like tanning at all so I kind of have to make myself do it, so I guess it is a good resolution for me.

I didn't really want to post a "woe is me" post but I seriously think 2015 wants to kick my butt. First the car battery dies, which isn't really that big of a deal, but then yesterday our we had to put our dog down, we knew it was coming because she had been diagnosed with nasal tumors in mid December but she went down hill so fast.

She was fine on Tuesday and then yesterday morning she seemed to not be doing so good, and once we got home from work we new we had to take her in. Her eyes were swollen shut and she could barely move. The poor thing :( but she is in a better place now and not in any more pain. We had her for 9 years and it is so weird that she is just gone now. Her collar and leash are still sitting on the stairs and I just get so sad when I look at them.

This morning I woke up and I have a throat infection again, so back to the doctor after work.

Phew, I am really a Debbie downer today, but I feel a bit better being able to talk about it. I guess on the plus side, all of this going on hasn't made me want to buy any new bags haha.

Thanks for letting me vent ladies :)
I'm really sorry to hear about our loss =( It's hard when our fur families leave us but we can be happy with the memories that we made with them. They know they were loved =) and she's a beautiful dog. Hope you feel better soon

And the LV comics bandeau.

So DBF got me the bandeau, because one day we went to the RAF museum. We had other things planned that day, usually his pick and her pick. We didn't get to my pick. We ended up spending 5 hours at the museum and I'm pretty fast at reading and looking so I was done in half that. I spent the other half waiting, so long that I was starving and the museum was closing. The cafe only sold pastries too, so I couldn't get anything substantial while waiting.

So he promised me a scarf for being patient.

Then it happened again at the Imperial War Museum, so I apparently earned myself a second scarf. Another 5 hours, plus walks in the rain to and from the museum. I got sick this day, so I guess he felt guilty. Lol.

But, he got his treats too. I got him a suit at his favorite shop, and started getting his year gifts, the Chanel tie and the LV tie clip. :) and while waiting at the RAF museum I was doing all the kitschy souvenir things, like the pressed pennies and kids activities (all of which he somehow missed) so he was thrilled with the coloring book and pressed pennies of his favorite planes.
These are great items!

Sorry to hear about your loss - he was lucky to have someone that didnt' give up on him and to spend his years with. 8hugs*

How is everyone on their other resolutions?
Still haven't shopped! And have been using my KS for the whole week and still undecided.

Resolution wise, I've planned what I'm going to wear in two week rotations. Every bag will get a keychain for one week. I'll have to work in my new purchases.

I'm going to make some returns, the Ferragamo clutch and maybe a pair of geox shoes. The clutch for sure.

I'm also taking out some more stuff from my closet.

And now that I'm back, my full quarter ban starts now.

For non handbag resolutions, I'm cleaning up and putting things away right away. So I've unpacked completely, and I'm doing laundry and properly storing my new things.

I'm sick, so I haven't been eating that well, but I'm picking the better option of what I can eat.

And school wise, it's pretty slow so I'm at least caught up.

For my Lindy I have a D&C (Divide and conquer) off of etsy. Connie also makes custom inserts. I like mine a lot. Lot of pockets and very durable. But a bit heavy since it is so durable. I think mine was about $65 but that was a few years ago. (You might also want to check out the Hermes inserts thread (if you haven't already).
