These were FP, but I just ordered them @ 40% off with F&F! I've been eyeing Beechwood SLG's (and a few Bags too) for a while now. This color works year round, wahoo! $355, includes tax.

EDIT - The Beechwood Dakotah isn't too shabby either, hehe! Anyone own a Dakotah?

Kinda bummed my local boutique never offered me f&f considering how I always try to order from them vs online and never return items to their store.
I wasn't offered the F&F discount but knew it was going on. (from this forum!) I asked at 3 stores - all were willing to extended it but only purchased a bag from 2 of the stores as they had what I wanted. I do not know they are that strict on extending it if they know you and know you will buy.

I only stopped by my closest boutique a day or 2 after f&f started and felt weird bringing up the topic so I didn't. I never made it back out because it's very rare I get to the mall without my 3 kids. I don't like to bring them into the boutique often. My 6yr old girl LOVES bags and wants to play with all the displays and my 3yr old boy gets bored out of his mind and wants to destroy the place lol. Baby causes no harm however except for the occasional fussiness.

Same here! First, I never shop online and always purchase my bags at my Coach boutique. Both my daughter and I have frequented this same shop for years, and we've never been offered the F & F discount. If it wasn't for TPF, I would never have heard of it! We have great SA's whom we buy from, and nobody has ever mentioned F & F. So wondering, do all SA's know about this discount? My boutique is a flagship store, but the topic of F & F seems to be mute there!! We're on friendly terms with our SA's, so a bit shocked that it's never been mentioned.

They should. I think they receive maybe 5 cards to hand out to customers. So not many. Two of the stores were willing to extended the discount when asked. One (that I did purchase from) was hesitant and mentioned how limited the cards were. Then they pulled out a card from an SA and used the code on it.

I mean, I think if it limited I can see the SAs being cautious about who they give it to - like actual "friends" and actual "family". When I have worked in retail it was a bit of an unspoken rule that these kinds of discounts were a perk of working there not to be shared with "regular" customers. I have never worked at Coach, but I always shared similar discount codes/cards only with actualy friends or family members.

Yes, totally understand. The stores I asked could have certainly said no and I would have understood. But they were ok - one didn't hesitate at all and said we can offer that to you through the end date.

Yes, it probably varies a lot on the stores, too. Quite honestly I was always a little worried that if I shared it beyond actual friends or family the privilege could be pulled! I am sure others did not stress this as much as I did! :amuse:
