I have the black small and am about to get the dark beige in small as well. I agree with your choice to get the dark beige. Who knows when they'll come out with that dark beige again. The black small is super hot right now (and will always be), but IMO it's not a limited color the way the dark beige will be.

I too am leaning towards navy as even though I like beige I am not really into getting a light coloured bag .I would like to see if I like the bag in the first place .Hoping to go down to London end of the month and fingers crossed they have it .

The one thing I would consider before getting the 19 maxi is how much stuff are you going to put in there. I tried on the medium/large and I like to put a lot of stuff in my bags. I noticed that the heavier the bag, the less structured it looked. For example, the bottom is not reinforced and it will sag quite a bit if your belongings are too heavy. And then, there will be a gap at the top of both sides of the bag (where the two chains are connected to the flap) because the bag is being pulled down by all the weight. Granted, the 19 is supposed to have that relaxed, slouchy look but if that annoys you, then I would stick with the bowling bag.
