I thought all 19’s after early 2020 were lambskin????Just received this small 19 in black goatskin fresh from the boutique (purchased before the price increase)I already have the black in medium as well so this just shows how much I love this bag, the most practical,durable and functional style! This is actually my 5th 19 flap!

True! Last season that had goatskin was 20K. This one is from 20B!
So sorry to hear that. Guess luck might played a part when stock arrives. My SA offered me first the denim 19 and then few weeks later the so black version which arrived very late to the boutiques as many 22P stuff tickling in very slowly this time. I have declined it both coz I am not 100% sure of the denim and the so black is very beautiful, definitely my preferred hardware color but the price makes me hesitated. Maybe you can try again as there might be stock coming in and very slowly. Yes! I bought the large goatskin in 2020 and just sold it because (1) it was too big and (2) it looked worn out already and I take really good care of my bags. Just ordered the small black lambskin and can't wait.
$5700. I bought it precisely for that purpose, i.e. an everyday bag. I absolutely love it. It literally works with every outfit. Loved it so much, bought two colors.

I use mine as an everyday bag as well. I guess it depends on how much you have to cart around but the smaller 19 definitely fits all the essentials and in my opinion, looks much better than the Large size. But again, everyone has different tastes!
I think it's plenty big enough. I had several opportunities to get the large and I just thought it was too big. And that's coming from a curvy girl! Lol. The small looks so much better to me. That being said, I may end up with a large down the road. Who knows.
The small/medium size fits all of my essentials: long wallet, keys, sunglasses, small vanity pouch, and phone. I tried the large on, and while I did like the extra room, it looks kind of funny because the weight of the bag makes the flap part look funny. Since the straps are on top of the bag, instead of the sides, it really hangs and there's a significant gap at the flap. So, IMO, the large looks kinda funny in that way.
Lamb (top left) vs. goatskin (bottom right) for anyone who wants a comparison. I sold my large 19 in favor of the smaller size as it works more with my life. I take really good care of my bags (keep them on shelves, stuffed with tissue paper, use Samorga inserts, etc.) and I feel like my goatskin bag, despite seeming more durable than the lambskin, didn't age well. I got that bag in Dec. 2020, for reference. Here's to hoping the lambskin fairs better!
