Joining the club and having some doubts! Ordered from Bellagio’s Chanel boutique this beautiful Chanel 19 Lambskin Small 31 series. Really like the looks of this bag. Very casual yet chic.
Is it normal to have 4/ FOUR! unfinished leather sticking out ends on the strap? Forgive if that was ever brought up here but I get 2 leather pieces like that but 4 seems too much for me. I notice them. Is it just my bag or they all are the same way? Do they bother any of you?

I just checked my bag. Mine also has 4 leather pieces sticking out, but they are very short and on the inside of the strap when wearing the bag, so it doesn‘t bother me too much.

Just OYE! Need to make a decision now. I know it’s minor but I keep seeing them..
I have 4x 19 bags (don't judge me I'm an addict), and I have not noticed any pieces sticking out like that. It would bug me too.
LOL! 4! Can’t blame you - they are all gorgeous.
I need to decide as I think it’ll always be on my mind / that they could have cut them shorter. I never had to return a Chanel purchase before but do you know if I can return to my local boutique even though I purchased through a send charge through Chanel’s app? Instead of shipping the bag back.

Just joined the club with a 20A coral colored 19 bag in goatskin! This unfortunately was a display piece though (the "new" bag that they showed me was super wrinkly...) I fell in love with the color and went home with it. What are your thoughts with purchasing a display piece? Should I have gotten the super wrinkly/new bag instead? Thanks!

Nope, get the one with better leather which is the display in this case. The leather quality is the most important. Goes a long way for the longevity and look of the bag. The wrinkles on a wrinkly bag will bother you everytime u see it and takes away the happiness of owning it. Yours looks good and not worn out at all! Congrats!

Visited my closest boutique in Boston for the first time and wanted to see the 19 in person. Debated on getting the small or medium/large size. My SA showed me the small 21S white (forgot the leather type). Wish the lighting in store was a bit better though.
Not sure if they had any other whites in stock, but the small indent on the front flap bothered me lol! I ended up asking for the small 20S navy blue/red/white tweed 19, but she told me there was only 1 small 20S bag left in the US and it wasn't in this boutique. She did find the bag in the medium size on display. It's coming in tomorrow so I'm hoping the quality is good. Will share pics of it after unboxing

Does anyone have the 19 in the light pink shearling? I’m obsessed and can’t decide if I need this or the 19 bag in light pink leather? (Has anyone seen the light pink in person?) Anyone have any suggestions?

I returned the bag. I couldn’t unsee the leather tabs. Never wore it or put any of my things inside. I’m sure it’s already sold to another client who might not notice the longer tabs. I was told the usual -“handmade Chanel”/normal.
My husband was happy I returned 19 as he felt the bag was “too busy” & not elegant looking. He wasn’t that thrilled when I turned around and bought a very elegant M/L classic flap in vert))
I tried a tweed 19 in medium at the boutique & really loved it. I think I’ll wait for the right tweed combo when I see it.
