Birthday Dress

I was wondering if any of you could help me with figuring out a birthday dress or a good online site for it...

I am 5'5 and petite/toned.. and normally love a more avant-garde style. One of my favorite upcoming Spring trends would have to be cut-outs if that helps. I would def. not mind a form fitting dress-- I am going to be 21 (yes I know, I am so young, blah blah blah haha). I know that my "celebration" is taking place in a nightclub.. and during fashion week.. so I need to make this good.

Does anyone have any sites or suggestions? I feel that H.L. is too predictable to wear-- and also I really am not looking to spend 1200+. I work in nightlife and lately it is not doing so well (or anything with this economy for that matter).. and I am looking to not go and spend a fortune.

I saw some Jovani dresses that are labeled as "cocktail/homecoming" that aren't too "prom-y".. I just wanted to know if anybody else had some suggestions for a form-fitting (prefably), short length dress that isn't exactly your "girl next door" look (covered with bows and what not).

I am open to possibilities of course . Thank you!

Not really sure how short of a dress you want, but I found a couple of cute ones on bebe.com, they always have cute party dresses! These look short but so sexy!

I don't know how long you have but if you have about 2 weeks check out ASOS.com

They are a Uk based site but i got a lot of unique dresses from that site and you won't be able to find them in the States! They are reasonable in the prices as well

I would also check out bcbg etc.

I originally got a dress by Yotam Solomon.. if you go on shopflick.com it is the black cocktail dress known as the Liia dress.. just tried it on: Looks ok, would need a few alterations. I will let you all know what I choose. Thanks for the help!!
