I just learned something new about Leila Menchari - thank you! Beautiful scarves and excellent tie in to the theme!I'm an original trilogy fan. You could say Star Wars set me on my career path. It awakened in me an interest in all aspects of TV and movie production. While my friends were reading Cosmopolitan, I was devouring American Cinematographer. Although I never did become a visual effects specialist, I did end up joining a media company.
Stars Wars: A New Hope begins on the desert planet of Tatooine. Luke meets Obiwan Kenobi when the latter scares off some Tusken Raiders. The heavily cloaked nomadic tribe are reminescent of our desert dwellers, although Banthas are much more scarier than horses!

And where were the Tatooine scenes shot? In Tunisia - the birthplace of Leila Menchari.

Ty! I love this design and must fight the urge to add more colorways.oh my. The colorway I crave!!
TY! This is my attempt at the Octopus Knot that beleaguered @Living.la.vida.fifi keeps trying to teach me (I think there’s a tut on the show me how thread). Basically you fold the scarf in half (a rectangle) and drape around the neck so the tails are in front. Grab a CdA ring. Thread one corner up one hole and another corner from the opposite side up the other hole. Then take the remaining corners and thread those down through each hole.Beautiful knot, Snausages! Would it be too much to ask how you did this? No hurry, I’m just curious. It looks like an Iris…
I feel like I need a diagram to better explain this
Fresh off a zoom meeting and inspired by the theme, Space Derby in Bleu Ciel/Rose/Vert amande. Plus two I’ve not seen posted yet, A l’Ombre des Pivoines with its floating city scapes and Les Legendes De L'Arbre in Rose Vif/Framboise/Bleu with creatures and gardens from galaxies “far far away”
