NF DE crack in strap - is this common?

This has been happening the day the ebene neverfull was released. It will continue to happen. LV should think of a better way to make this bag but they won't because it's a high profit bag. You should get the strap replaced (they might charge you) but it could happen again

Exactly! This bag takes only a few minutes to make and it's a huge seller. DE leather was never engineered to work for these handles anyway. It will continue to happen until they stop making the NF in DE.

OP, take your bag in and demand either a refund or go for another style, maybe one where the handles aren't known to break. Explain nicely to the manager that you have a really difficult time carrying your tote bag as a clutch and see what he/she says.
