How do you tie your Burberry silk scarf on your bag?

Hi I have a few designer scarves; however I've never tied them on my handbag DKW because it would look lovely.
If you check on YouTube; How to tie a scarf on your handbag; there are many videos and the scarves look great on the bags!

I know the one I got for my GF she just ties on with a simple knot. It's the classic nova check colors in silk and looks great on her black purse.

Although after a couple months it has got quite dirty. I think we'll have to get it dry cleaned
