What is Club Fume Leather?

I'm interested in some items on the men's side of the BV site, and keep seeing made of "exclusive intrecciato club fume leather". What is that, exactly?
 
club refers to the two colors
a couple years ago they did a club montaigne
fume, ,means smoke. The process is using black wax to define the grain of the leather
it is usually used on croc
so it is two colored leather that is tanned with black wax to define the colors

indiaink - I like the club styles. Although I sold my red/corallo club Montaigne, I kept the light colored (non fume) ostrich one. Take a look through the Montaigne reference thread. You can also see the wax treatment used on them, too. Some thought they looked dirty, but they were supposed to have the finish.
