I'd get the zippy! It holds up so well. I've just purchased a preloved French wallet and unfortunately I'll be sending it back. The leather has softened with age which means the whole thing feels kinda flimsy (plus it has numerous unmentioned marks) but I definitely prefer the zippy and the overall structure of it

This is exactly why I love the French wallet...it doesn't take up a lot of space and is so pretty.
