Are platforms growing taller?

I saw these Via Spiga platforms at Nordstrom on Saturday night and couldn't get them out of my mind. I went back first thing on Sunday a.m. and bought them them. These seem a little racey for Via Spiga, so I am left wondering whether we'll be seeing higher platforms coming into style for Fall.

In my dreams platforms are always "coming back". not quite IRL though. I don't think platforms are the biggest trend for fall, but I think they are more in than they have been.

I have seen some platforms from the 70s and Miss Westwood ain't got nothing on them.

Yep, platforms are getting higher. My first pair of prada platforms from 2 or 3 years ago look like shrimps compared to the new ones that are out there.

I love them though because I am a shrimp myself!
