Outlet return?

I have a bag i'd like to return to the outlet, tags attached not used!
It was put on a cc which isnt mine so returning it for a store credit is all it get. Question is, if I get a store credit is that only good for the outlet or can I use it at the ful price store as well?

Iv used it at a full priced store, no problems at all.
