Socialites and their Hermes

Upclosenstylish has a twitter account that states what she is wearing. It is very possible she is paid to model the clothes/accessories for the brands. Social media is a really cheap way to advertise.... Just a thought....

I thought that. I thought maybe she owns a boutique like Intermix or Browns. The type of boutique that sells a mix of high and mid range but then she would say something along the lines of 'I'm wearing J Brand jeans, picked them up at Intermix Madison Ave'.

Or maybe she has a stylist friend who tries looks out on her. I used to do that on my sisters.
Ok, I'm grasping at straws here, I think everything she wears belongs to her.

I am not greedy...I dont need much! I'll just take EVERY single piece of jewelry and watch...thats reasonable enough...No?. But then I am sure POODLEGRL will tackle and hurt me on the way out for the Cartier bangles! She'll be waiting in the bushes....

Love her Cartier watch, too. OK, you can have the jewelry and the watch, but I have dibs on the CLs and some of the bags.
Heck, I won't fit into the jeans, so why bother, hehe.

Just for clarification: I never thought this woman and Sylvie van der Vaart are the same person. Of course not.

However, whenever I see this girl, I think of SvDV... If you look at Sylvie's style more closely- it is very much the same. Tight jeans, high heels, a top/blouse, a coat/jacket w some interesting details, lots of leopard print items and either a Hermes or Chanel bag.

They seem so identical to me, that I have said if upcloseandstylish was more tanned (which sylvie almost always is) I would think they are either twins or they are the same person...

Love the blue CE leopard-print jeans BTW!

no you are not the only one. actually i learn more about what NOT to wear from these threads including the asians and stars thread rather than what to wear..

I'm also not a fan of most of her outfits. They look overdone to me...too many pieces with different prints, colors, and textures in one outfit for my taste. I also think some of them would look better with flats than heels. Love her collection of H bags though.

This is not my vision of a socialite, this is over the top and not classy just costly(no offense intended to anyone) but it is my opinion. Actually, maybe she needs to be on another thread with a name other than "socialites".
