Scratched Coach Hardware...Help!

aww that sucks, I don't know if Coach will fix it, but there is nothing you can do to fix that yourself.

I would take the bag to a jeweler and ask if he could gently polish it to remove or minimize the scratches.

Thanks. I thought about that too. I bought a silver polish that is supposed to minimize and in some cases totally remove scratches but haven't used it yet.

Well just chalk it up to patina. I know - I wish the hardware stayed pristine but I figure I have some flaws and lines so it is ok!

Hi ladies,
I scratched the clasp on the front pocket of my Kristin Laila. Is there anything that can be done? Will Coach repair something like that? Is there a way to buff them out myself? I tried to post pictures but for some reason, they wouldn't attach.

this is an awesome idea..will it look obvious with the tape on the hardware?

Actually no. What I do is cut out shapes of tape that only cover the part of hardware that sticks out, not the entire clasp. Don't tape over the indentation/line down the middle. Use two pieces to cover it And I didn't tape over the "Coach" either.
