Date Code Question

Hey all...

I bought a Mono Speedy 30 at Holt Renfrew last weekend and I just took a look at the date code and noticed that it says: AA0087

Does that mean it was made August 2007?? Because it's not August yet!! Or am I just translating that wrong?

There's NO WAY this could be a fake bag because it came straight from the Louis Vuitton counter at Holt Renfrew.
