Dear lovely authenticators,

Could you please help me with this one?

Item: Original Hermes Tasche 30 "Lindy" sehr schöne Beige Farbe!
Listing number: 150755436165
Seller: fachexperte (196)
Link: http://www.ebay.de/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150755436165&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:DE:1123
Comments if any: Seller says he bought the bag in Strasbourg, but has no receipt. I was wondering which color this is supposed to be? I thought Etoupe, but this would have the contrast stitching?

Thanks you so much
Ninchen

I have never seen this style before and the stamp doesn't look right (feint and doesn't indicate porosus or niloticus) but my track record of guessing authentic or fake is a little dodgy of late and I wondered if any of you kind ladies could help. Quite a cute little bag though and would be great if it was 100%.

Item: Hermes Vintage Black Small Rounded Structured Crocodile Leather Clutch Hand Bag

Comments: I have asked for image of date stamp but I am not even sure if this is a valid Hermes style.

Thanks,

Gill

Hi,
I bought this bag for two euros in a second-hand shop in Portugal. Lots of Portuguese immigrants living in France, so I guess that could be how it got there. I've taken loads of pictures. Not sure it f they're good enough for you ladies to authenticate the bag, but I'd be grateful for any help.
Thanks.

Is this the same bag you asked about in December?

Do not know the name of the style, but the bag is consistent in appearance with authentic Hermes manufacture, so I believe it is authentic.

Thank you. Will see I can find the style now.

You may need to take the photos into an Hermes boutique and have them look it up in their book. As I recently learned, there are hundreds of bags that have been retired over the decades, some made with very limited production for a particular country. I was astonished at the pages and pages of bags they've made. It is SO interesting!

My Mom has this bag. She purchased it at an Hermes store in the early 70s.
