LV Purse that has been reglazed, what's that mean?

Hard to explain with out showing it to you but its the shiny stuff that is on handles, trim and other parts of bags and accessories.
On the mono it sometimes loos reddish colored and othr times the same color to mathc the mono. So hard to explain but an SA showed me once before when we were looking at and old bag.

I wish I lived near a boutique... I'd love to keep all the bits and pieces looking new with things like reglazing.
