Codygirl, I don't think this is a dipdye ... aren't they more monochromatic? Plus, the care tag is from the 90's, or early 2000s. Actually, I think I used to own this and the colors are not accurate in the photos. If you're serious about it, ask which picture best captured the color. Stay warm!
THANKS!! I might possibly like the color combination if it looks more like she stated it looks than the pictures. The seller references that the pictures do you not show the color the best. Sounds like the scarf is
deep purple, navy and gold?
It is freezing here!!! Hope you are still in SOFL....in the sunshine!!
PS - I like the Les Eperons that you have!!

Rosekirk, this scarf looks fine to me. It's late and I'm sleep. Ask seller if they owned two or if this is the same one sold earlier and why they relisted. I need to revisit this in the morning. Were you the buyer? Anyway, I have this scarf, in many colors, including this one and it is authentic.

Dear sdsurfchick,

Thanks for the reply, will check history with the seller. I watched but was not the buyer of original scarf, love the colours though. Realise second link is not working, but does so from original post.

Thanks again,
Sweet Dreams!

Dear sdsurfchick and Maedi,

Thanks for the replies. Scarf is green, blue and white Ex Libris. Seller replied that is same scarf as previously offered - mark in bottom right corner was detected so reoffered at "markdown price" but is a lot more expensive than original start price - seems a little strange... will watch this one and see what happens!

All the best

Rosekirk and sdsurfchick - I saw the green/blue and white Ex Libris and thought it has the same issue as the navy/red/white one. But I could be wrong
I just double-checked and the two are from different sellers. Does this make sense? Different sellers, different c/w but in my humble opinion same flaw.

Hello everyone - I purchased a few vintage Hermes scarves and before re-selling some of them, I wanted to be sure one in particular is authentic. The other two I found on the Hermès Scarf Catalogue and they date to the late 1960s, so I'm assuming this one is about as old (came from same estate). But unlike the other ones, this one does not have an artist signature. I've read that this is not always mean a fake with vintage scarves, but I would still appreciate your input.

Here is the scarf in question:

I have a Couronnes / Crowns oblong shawl and it has no artist's signature either. There are a few scarves without signatures; I believe a list of some was posted in the reference thread. Sorry, my brain is mush at this hour...
