Hi ladies,

Does this look suspicious to you? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280387563792

I've been the high bidder for a few days, and another bidder entered a bid one increment higher than mine, then immediately retracted it. They then placed a bid to exactly the same amount as my highest. I get the feeling like they're trying to scope out my highest bid, or even attempting to engage in shill bidding. This is the second auction for this item, by the way, and the last one ended with a deadbeat bidder. Its here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...304680&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_500wt_1182

The other bidder's history, or lack thereof looks suspicious too.

With all the horror stories I've heard, I don't know whether I'm just paranoid or have actual cause for concern.

Looks like shill bidding to me, but hard to prove and ebay doesn't seem to care.

The leopard shoe that she has featured in her listing is a vey different leopard

print that she suggests looking at on net-a porter.

I would pass on these. They will trun up again for sure on ebay.

The auction is over. :smile: I'll see if there's a problem with this seller, since the price is under what I was willing to pay, after all... There was just no way I was raising my max bid!
