I enjoy looking at the LV Kusama pieces and often wonder how people style them.

There are lots of photos of the charm here, but how do people wear their bags or assessoiries?

I cannot figure out how to ask this question without sounded ridiculous, but that is not a first for me

I often think I would have to pair it with a monochrome outfit and let the bag do all the talking.

Somewhere I saw a Kusama vernis Lock it, and cannot figure out how I felt about it practically. As a piece of art, it is grand.

The canvas Kusama Speedys and NFS seem easier to wear.

Hello I have a question. Did the LV Carmel hobo bag ever come in a special edition two toned. Cream on one side and light pinkish on the other? I only seen the cream ,black brown and light brown in stores and website. Thank you in advance.

Does anyone know a good Authentication Service for Hermes handbags?
I recently bought a Birkin 25, it's fresh from store with receipt date of 11/21/2022, I also shop at this same local store and actually compared the receipt with my own receipts that I had before, all look identical. However, just for extra ease, I ordered real authentication to double check, they gave me result of "counterfeit" which is shocking to me.

I then decided to pay more to ask Bababebi to authenticate the bag, and her opinion is that the bag is authentic. I reached out to Real Authentication again telling them that they made a mistake. Of course they don't admit it and they say they need at least 2 credible authenticators' result to give me refund.

So anyone has other good Hermes authentication service recommendation? Thank you!

I am hoping that folks here can suggest a good wallet. I would prefer material that is or looks like crocodile but am open to leather in general. My beloved wallet is starting to show wear and I really should replace it. I would like to replace it with something as close to it as possible. It is faux-croc, real leather, long (bill-length), opens up at the top with a folding clasp, and has multiple sections. It holds quite a bit.

The replacement doesn't have to be exact, but if anyone has any suggestions or would like to recommend their own favorite wallet, I would love to hear about it!

After a lifetime of romanticizing having a truly quality jewelry piece, I finally allowed myself to get one! I got the Cartier Panthere Maillon ring with 5 rows in yellow gold. I'm sure by many people's standards, this is no big deal but for me it is truly special.

I got the ring and a nice watch (an omega seamaster aqua terra) for my 50th birthday. I turned 50 this year and celebrated my 4th year being cancer-free, so if those things don't deserve a celebration, I don't know what does!

The cancer was truly horrible. It was in my tonsil and spread to the lymph nodes in my neck. It was not from smoking, as I am not a smoker. It was just random bad luck. They did chemo & radiation on my face and neck, which caused dreadful side effects, some of which were long term. Although it was terribly painful, I couldn't find it in myself to complain because the side effects were better than dying from cancer (especially that one, as it is a nightmare). I was willing to do anything to get healthy and stay alive to continue to be around for my kids. And it worked! Despite a few lingering side effects from the chemo and radiation, I am overall fine now and honestly, just happy to be alive.

As far as spending money on something expensive, I have always either had other priorities or couldn't afford it, but now I can splurge every now and again and finally decided to make myself the priority! Not any of the things I usually prioritize - not the kids, not my husband, not a family vacation, not the pets' vet bills, not extra in the retirement fund, not extra savings, not extra on the mortgage. This was just for me! I have literally never spent this much money on myself EVER. And you know what? I don't regret it. Not one bit.

I will wait for Christmas to wear the ring but when I do, I will try to post a picture. What are your splurges where you prioritized yourself? If you have pictures, I would love to see them!

I hope I can find some support and help. My recent SO Kelly ostrich 20 in PHW was stolen from my home. The person who did it(I suspect someone I thought I could trust) or people (perhaps the security insider person) knew exactly the cost of the bag as there were other bags and knew that the mini Kelly is easier to conceal from the cameras.
I think this happened between last Sunday and this Sunday. I don’t have a date as the person or people knew I was working really busy and brutal hospital shifts. I am really really sad especially as in the UK I have not been able to reach the police (non emergency) this whole day and instead am doing it online. It doesn’t seem like there is much help and it feels rather horrible. If anyone could help me in terms of letting me know where my bag might be posted or if you see her online, please please contact me. Any support is much needed at this time.
At the end of the day, I hugged my cat and loved ones. I know it is material possession and this bag for me with a symbol of a lot of psychologically achievements.

Hi all! I was wondering whether it's typical for the mini flap to have champagne hardware? I was expecting it to be silver or gold, but the SA I spoke to suggested the minis only come with champagne hardware for this season. Is this a recent change? And is the champagne metal as popular/classic as the others?

For Cartier, I have narrowed it down to the smaller full pave or half pave panthere ring. Having never worn any rings other than my wedding band & e-ring, I am also not sure how or which hand I should be wearing the panthere ring
As for VCA, the frivole between fingers ring looks beautiful in photo. However I haven’t had a chance to try it on.
Would love to see how you match these rings with! I am not usually fancy. But am at this phase where I have big love for jewellery. Starting very late and going to take it slow.
Currently I only have an e ring & band which I wear on my right hand, occasionally a watch and a 18 pointer tennis bracelet. Which ring should I pick? A happy dilemma!

Hello there, I have placed order on two Perry totes. I haven’t got them in person yet. But would like to get your opinions.
One is the older version (maybe last year’s version), that has the middle compartment but no pockets, no metal feet. The other one is the current version with a middle compartment, two pockets (I guess, from pictures), and metal feet. They are different colours, so at first I think I will return one based on the colour. However, I am now wondering, do the two versions have different qualities as well? Also, how much better the pockets and metal feet are in the current version over the old one (like functionality wise)? I think I may need to take those into consideration when I decide which one to keep as well. Cheers.

It seems round/semi circle profiled bags have been on trend lately. I saw an article in a newspaper about round bags and how everyone should get one. As I've never been the one to go for trendy bags and just do my thing, I just let out a small giggle thinking of people running out to get one, and went on reading other pages.
Then I started thinking that I actually have been favoring my MbMJ Natasha and DKNY round hobo lately. So it seems I have been rocking the trend without even knowing! The only thing that's keeping me from not putting my round bags back into their dust bags for the next year is that bag trends are not something people in this town are very big on.

I just received this new Antigona in box leather that has these marks on it. I have the option from the company I bought it from (not straight from Givenchy) to keep it for a small discount or return it. I’m not sure if the marks are glue or scratches. Looking for advice on if there is a way to fix them/make them less noticeable whether glue or scratch. TIA

Irene Cara, the singer behind huge '80s hits from "Flashdance" and "Fame" has died.

Cara passed away in her Florida home Friday, according to her rep. Details surrounding her death were not disclosed.

Irene won an Oscar for Best Original Song for "What a Feeling" -- the iconic song from "Flashdance" which made her a household name.

Irene also scored big with her monster hit, "Fame" from the movie of the same name. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for "Best Actress" for her work in the movie.

Cara went on to appear in other movies, including "City Heat," co-starring Clint Eastwoodand Burt Reynolds. She also played opposite Tatum O'Neal in "Certain Fury."



In 2004, Irene was honored with a Prestige Award for Lifetime Achievement.

Her rep said, "It is with profound sadness that on behalf of her family I announce the passing of Irene Cara. Irene’s family has requested privacy as they process their grief. She was a beautifully gifted soul whose legacy will live forever through her music and films."

Irene was 63.

I signed up for the program as soon as I heard about it, because I purchase a lot of Dior beauty products, so the other day I hit Gold status and it won’t let me redeem my gift to my basket. OMGahhh how annoying, I called customer service and they say it’s because they are “out if stock” from the gift. They hope to receive it in a month. Well that’s not my problem, if your going to do a loyalty program why not make sure you meet the demands of your clients. This is so annoying. I am in a pinch, my SA just offered me the HP2022 pendant because initially my friend asked me and i was just helping her to ask. That time it was all allocated out. She has since gotten hers..

I wasnt intending to get the HP2022 because i had sold my HP2020 and the 2018 YG yellow MOP ones. I was just over pendants in a way that they wouldnt stay nicely centered. However, i am feeling a little Fomo now (and also missing the Va pendant in the sense that i feel like i shld have at least 1 for days when i want to be a bit more than a dainty solitaire necklace)and i am not a green person. However, i do like pastel light bluish mint color (though I prefer pink purple shades but i find those harder to match as jewellery pieces, and may not age well). This color feels like it would age well? I dont know.

I recently acquired the 5 motif bracelets in Pave Onyx, and going to get my Chalcedony bracelet soon.

I currently pair it with the Cartier CdC solitaire necklace, it is very dainty, barely there, matches anything.. even chalcedony.

In the future, i considered getting a 10 motif Yg onyx or WG chalcedony necklace. But I am also considering now maybe Chalcedony pendant may suit my lifestyle better. I prefer simple pieces on my neck for day to day, i love the look of a 20 motif, but i am not a long necklace girl for the daily.

For those of you who got the HP2022, how do you style it? Would you go for the Chalcedony pendant or the HP2022 if you were me? The one my SA got for me seems like a nice bluish mint green shade on pic which is what i like. But i wonder if in person it will pull more green? I dont like green much at all, only exceptional is pastel minty green.

I bought my Dior WOC in London back in 2016. I hardly use it but recently I took it out and there were some scuffs at the corner maybe due to poor storage.

I live in Malaysia. Does Dior do repairs for their products or do I have to look for a bag spa?

Hi everyone, I was walking by CIMB Plaza at Raffles Place a couple of days ago and I saw that OnTheList was having some flash sale event with Balenciaga. It was apparently a By-Invitation-Only event and it was not announced on OTL’s website or anything. When I tried to get more info from the front desk they were clueless about how to qualify for an invitation, and the reply I got from OTL after emailing in was “The invitation criteria is based on Brand's selection for this close door event. (SIC)”

I am wondering are there any purseforum members who were invited to the event, and how’s the selection like? (Saw quite a number of folks walking away with overflowing shopping bags…) And did anyone score any good deals? From my memory the last time OTL did a flash sale with Valentino they went up to 80% discount, I am wondering if it’s the same this time round.

Would appreciate if anyone could provide us with some details, thanks!
