Hi everyone. I need some help/clarity. I came across a medium classic flap circa 1998 I believe. (Photos below are of bag in question)
As you can see, it has black interior. I thought these always came with the burgundy interior. Am I completely wrong? If so, I'd love some clarity on when (about) they changed it. I welcome any information that will help me strengthen my Chanel knowledge base.

I love Marc jacobs so much, and bought a snapshot camera bag last year.

The camera bag strap works well for casual outfits, but I would love to use it for a dressier occasion as well.
I also have the WOC version of this bag, but the capacity isn’t great. I would love to get a strap similar to the WOC strap for my camera bag. Unfortunately the WOC strap is not compatible.

Does anyone have recommendations?

I adore Elsa Peretti designs. I have bean earrings, a DBTY necklace, and the wire ring in gold; a bone cuff and bottle pendant in silver. I consider these absolute classics.

I wanted to add a silver Peretti ring to my collection for the summer and was very drawn to the Sevillana. I tried it on at the boutique and loved how it looked and felt but found myself hesitant to pay almost $700 for a silver ring when I have much cheaper similarly minimalist sterling silver rings in my collection already. Is it because Sevillana is less instantly identifiable as Peretti than, say, the bone cuff? I'm aware that Tiffany's upcharges drastically for the designer name but am usually happy to pay the price for the intellectual property of a genius like Peretti.

I have the funds to buy it without a problem and keep thinking about those beautifully modern, sinuous lines of the design. I also like the idea of having a complete set of Peretti silver pieces.

I found a few on resale sites for less than half the retail price; however, I have a wonderful home boutique and SA who I want to patronize and would be plagued by fears it's fake. I wear the bone cuff and bottle almost every day in the summer, and this would be worn daily along with them. Should I stop overthinking and just get it?

I just added the small pave rosegold. Does the locking screw in one side continously rotate? It's doesn't lock like my normal sized love bracelets. Thescrew keeps continues to turn on this small one. Please advise if this is normal or not. Thanks everyone.

I haven’t posted here for a long time because shoes and purses aren’t a big part of my life, but I do have a couple of pairs of Loub’s that I absolutely love, and after six years I’m eyeing a third pair!

I currently have a pair of Black Patent Pigalle 120 (purchased new around 10-12 years ago) and a pair of Black Patent So Kate (purchased new around 6 years ago).

I’ve come across a pre-owned Black Kid Feticha 120 in the same size as my So Kate (my Pigalles are a whole size smaller). I’ve always loved the retro look of them, but couldn’t justify buying a pair at the time.

Before I press the button, what are your opinions on Feticha?
Would the same size as So Kate be a good fit? (I’m fairly regular width, certainly not wide.)

I have read some comments on here saying they are uncomfortable/painful. But So Kate are widely regarded as the most painful heels, and I managed to conquer them (although it took me many painful months) to eventually find them reasonably comfortable and wearable for full work days. (My Pigalles are even better.)

The intention would be for them to become part of my office shoe rotation (along with my Pigs, So Kate’s, and a few other 4” pumps for days I need to be more comfortable). But I am fully aware of how long it takes to break in Loub’s and have the determination.

So if you have a pair, please share your views, advice, wearing pictures, and stories about Feticha!

Hi! Just sharing what I got from Coach. Haven’t been to Coach in years and before these two items what I currently have from Coach is my old phyton leather crossbody, a pair of sunglasses and a pair of sandals.

Now more than a decade later I add this backpack and this belt bag. I’ll use them a lot to see if I keep them. Most likely I do bc I really like them when I tried at the store!

Ps it also gives you LV montsouris look without the price and about the same quality! I looked at them both and touched them both. And I have seen montsouris in the aftermarket and I see straps broken and corners rubbing so if it happens to this coach I wouldn’t be as outraged as if it happened to a $3k bag

I have 5 chanel bags (light beige, dark beige, silver, black Gabrielle, and dark blue) but for some reasons I dont have a black classic flap lol. With the crazy price hike, I’ve finally decided to get a black one in medium size. After searching for days, I found these 3 gorgeous babies all at very reasonable price.

I just purchased another large Doria satchel. It’s pretty big and I don’t anticipate ever using the strap, just the handle. The handle is long enough to put in the crook of my arm. Just wondering if it looks “unfinished” without the strap, or just in the way. What do you do?

I have a B25 dark blue nilo with PHW that was given to me by my mother that she bought from a reseller. Out of whim, I decided to put this up in an online marketplace for a ridiculous, RIDICULOUS price (like 2x the price my mom got it for) while the commission was low. I didn't think I would sell it in this lifetime, but alas, someone actually bought it at the ridiculous price. Now I am sitting on the floor wondering if I should let it go or keep it. I've honestly only worn it twice or thrice and it's a lot of money, but at the same time, it's my only croc bag, it was given to me by my mother and I don't really need the money.

On 2/9/23, I purchased a Bottega Veneta bag from Rebag for $2,524.50. I submitted a return request, but was informed by Rebag that the bag was an outlet item and not eligible for return. Apparently,I missed the very very small print on the description page that it was outlet. Resolved of my mistake, I decided to consign the bag to Yoogi’s Closet. Yoogi’s closet inspected my bag and informed me via email: “We have inspected your item and regret to inform you we are not able to make an offer on it. During our authentication process, we discovered some inconsistencies when comparing this item to authentic reference items. The interior leather patch is missing the embossed BOTTEGA VENETA Made in Italy stamp. If there any doubts or concerns about an item's authenticity, we will not list it for sale on YoogisCloset.com.” I have reached out via email to Rebag CS three times, receiving only one generic response reiterating their outlet policy and not addressing Yoogis assessment. Nothing in Rebag’s description of the bag detailed this defect. I would not have purchased if it did. “Rebag defines Outlet items as items that have heavy wear throughout, a major defect, or a missing accessory”… Rebag described the bag on its sale page as “Great - creasing on leather, scratches on hardware”. Rebag should be more transparent in describing the “Defects” or “missing accessories” in the outlet items they sell, esp if the item’s authenticity is under question. I am lead to believe Rebag knew they may have purchased and vetted an inauthentic bag, but were willing to pass it on to an unwitting customer. Rebag states on its website “ We certify every item and offer 7-day returns for any reason”. This policy should apply to outlet items as well. No other reputable consignment company I have done business with has any kind of outlet sale shop nor would they deny a return request if an item’s authenticity is in question.

When the new pebble grain collection came out, I received a beautiful red pebble large zip around. The new collection (with the leather front patch and Linen interior) seemed to vary a little in color in comparison with the traditional pebble grain. My new red wallet is a very nice bright almost poppy red. I love it.

Fast forward to now, I ordered a pebble grain sac in red from ILD. The color is just off. Darker than traditional pebble grain leather red. I'm going to return and reorder. Hoping it's just a bad dye lot. But I wondered if any of you have had a similar experience lately with colors.

Does anyone have the love shack heart bag in the red colour?

I recently bought one from Amazon and it came today but when I opened it the lining is red with hearts.

All the pictures of the candied red colour heart bag that I’ve seen always has a cream/white colour lining with hearts.

So I’m thinking that the bag that I’ve been sent is fake.

Did Kate Spade ever make the red love shack bags with a red lining? Anyone have a bag with red lining?

I own a sandringham trench coat in extra long (honey) but it’s very fitted (uk 8).black-ish horn buttons, 12 buttons etc. The entire coat is “the outfit” really, especially when buttoned fully as it’s so striking.

I wanted a second trench that would have all the latest design changes they did in the recent years and be classic at the same time, while being different enough to what I already own to be justified.

I stumbled across the Islington in Medium/knee length (honey). To my surprise, the uk 6 in this fits great and looser than my sandringham 8. Pic attached!

I would love to hear people’s knowledge and or opinion. This is a mix of questions and differences I found - which I thought was very interesting and I couldn’t find much (or anything really?) on this on here yet:

• Is this a recent style? Anyone know when it came out or if it’s still part of the standard line?
• This is a heritage trench, right?
• Anyone know more about it in general? (Designer, why they made certain details different etc.)
• It’s still sold on the Burberry website but only viewable if you look for “Islington”.
• Same garbadine as the sandringham, Kensington etc.
• Same leather Details on sleeves and belt
• New vintage check pattern inside
• Underside of collar is plain (no check)
• It has more belt loops bringing it in further to the waist
• The back vent flap is larger and not sewn down in the middle
• Shape of collar is different (larger)
• it has a double breast flap/wind shield that is buttoned down instead of just one on one side
• Instead of clasps the neck has a cotton flap that can be closed to protect from wind
• Buttons are NOT real horn but a specific kind of plastic (ok for me, not a fan of horn)
• Buttons are brown and cream speckled instead of very dark brown black
• Metall details: Matte bright Gold instead of a darker shiny brownish gold
• Price wise: same as Kensington etc etc.
• It’s slightly lighter than the sandringham but just a tiny bit

Here are the two next to each other (don’t mind the missing button on my old trench, getting that fixed soon)

I was unsure at first but now LOVE how it’s so classic and yet different enough from my other trench so I can switch things up depending on the outfit

I recently notice a large scratch on my Bobby bag. Does anyone know if Dior can fix this or if you can recommend a touch up pen or cleaner that can help? I find myself not wanting to use it due to this and I had it less than a year.
