Hi, I am really frustrated with DHL right now would appreciate some input. I ordered a bag from 24s, didn't like it after it arrived, and requested a return label. DHL picked it up and it was on its merry way to France. Today DHL emailed me to say I needed to provide an employer identification number to "export" the item. I looked at the IRS website and none of the situations described there for how you would use an EIN apply. Not to mention it seems utterly ridiculous that I would have to apply for an employer identification just to send back a bag! Has anyone run into this before/have any advice? I saw an old post here indicating you could use your SSN instead offered that to DHL but they said no. Meanwhile, they are holding a $5000 bag hostage who knows where. Help ?

For reaching a certain milestone, I wanted to buy a serpenti Bulgari in yellow gold without diamond BUT I saw Chanel hobo caviar in light pink and I immediately fell in love with it. To clarify, I already have a Love bracelet and the Chanel classic flap in black. I’m afraid that my love for the hobo will fade away over the time, and I might regret buying it and not using the same amount of money for jewelry.
I didn’t want to post this thoughts in the jewelry forum as I’m quite sure they’ll vote for the bracelet
Do you have the hobo? Is it perfect for everyday use? Is it worth it over the Serpenti?

I’ve just taken my old Speedy and Trouville Multicolor out after years and still thinks it’s one of the most beautiful bags. I loved the Murakami range. It’s made me go back and look at photos of celebrities carrying theres and the white Speedy always reminds me Jessica Simpson as she was the first person i saw with it and Holly Madison with the black trouville. My question is does anyone have a photo of Holly where she’s in where i think it’s the Sugar Factory or some other Sweet Shop in Vegas. I remember her holding a lollipop I had the photo on my old laptop but we’re talking over 15 years ago and i’ve searched it on google, found loads of other photos but not that one. I definitely didn’t imagine it. If only i could be bothered to switch the laptop on. I thought i’d ask her first. The bag looked amazing the colours so bright.

Are there any disadvantages/advantages of making purchases through a boutique, rather than a Chanel that’s in a department store? Remote at that as well!

So I finally bought a Tumi Hilden backpack and I'm surprised at my utter disappointment when comparing it to my much cheaper Lipault (french brand) backpack. Both really good quality nylon, both extremely light, but the Lipault is bigger and has more hidden pockets!

Here are some photo comparison and keep in mind the black lipault is 3 years old while the red Tumi is brand new not used yet.

So this is the berry red Tumi Hilden that fits a 13" laptop next to a black Lipault Business Avenue M (discontinued) that fits a 15" laptop. The red is actually not has vibrant in real life. The Tumi weighs slightly less but not by much.


On surface Tumi seems to have a lot more pockets but all the Lipault pockets are just hidden really well. They both have a strap for suitcases, Tumi has a wider one, but Lipault has a secret zipped pocket on the back big enough for passport or extra cash. The Tumi one is on the front with a secure hold.

The back laptop compartment also has two zippers and Tumi only has one. I get that a bag made for smaller computers may not be the same as a bag made for a slightly bigger one. My biggest dilemma now is which one to keep. The Tumi doesn't fit a big folder or my old 14" laptop, but I have been wanting this bag for so long and I'm so sad it isn't significantly better

I’m new to YSL. I purchased 2 Gabby pouch crossbody bags, one in white and the other in black from the YSL website. The black was a gift to my sister. We were trying the bags on and comparing when I noticed the white bag appeared to be bigger than the black. I measure both bags and indeed the white one is larger than the black bag.

I compared those measurements to the YSL website description and neither bag actually matches advertised measurements!!! I’m shocked because YSL is a luxury brand…how could the measurement of both bags differ from the posted website measurements???

I have Chanel, Gucci & Prada bags and never encountered this issue.

For reference, my white bag is 1/2 inch bigger in width than the website states and the black bag is 1/2 inches smaller in length than the website description. I’m going to contact YSL tomorrow.

I called the NYC 5th Avenue store to reserve my piece before the increase. I told her I already have a regular love bracelet in Yellow gold. I said I was looking to get a small love bracelet in yellow to stack with it. She pretty much discouraged me in getting a small to stack with it. I think she was inferring they wouldn't look good together. Had anyone else heard this? I am now reconsidering my choice. She said the small rose would look better with the regular love. Bougainvillea is my birkin and the bag I’m eyeing is a touch roulis in rose Mexico for reference. I’ve previously owned the 23cm roulis but and think the mini would be better a fit. I will also add I’m not a huge pink person. But love a pop of color. Bougainvillea is a nice neutral pop in my opinion. Is RM hard to style? Thank you!

Currently on my list are Speedy b 25, Croisette, Neo Noe, Noe bb, Alma bb and Pochette Metis.
I already have the Speedy 30 in DE and mono and the 25 in azur. I also have the Pochette accessoire, which I love, but it’s too small for everyday use.

I woud love to hear your advice.
