Breast Augmentation in Singapore - My Journey

Suggest to go back to work during the 3rd week.. the first week was horrible and depressing.. second week too but slightly better than the first. Showering was really difficult and tiring since Day 0.. I wished someone would had warned me of the weird uncomfortable exploding pain by just walking normally during week 1. My left dropped and fluffed faster than the right.

Currently in my 3rd week and I only started to feel normal today (15DPO). Most of the swelling seemed to have gone down.
I did 400CC motiva joy dual plane (375CC motiva 1). The results is smaller than I expected.. was hoping for a D but it looks like a C now :/
Hi, hope you are recovering well ! May I know which doc did you go to ? And do you need to stay in bed the whole day during the first week ? Thanks !

Hi ladies, im so glad to have found this page! Have been considering BA since i was 18 but never did it due to costs and fear. Reading this long thread started by @tvxqgirl was super reassuring and helpful especially with all the photos shared! I have been recommended by friends to do BA in Vietnam but I have not seen anyone here doing it there before. I also never realised Vietnam was also super known for BA hahaha. I have vietnamese friends so I definitely asked for opinions and recommendations, which led me to an experienced BA surgeon. I do have some questions and hope I can hear from you all!

1. I would like to find out from ladies who work in an office job, when did you return to work and how was it? I generally just sit at my desk, but my job also includes refilling the pantry etc. I will only return to work about 9-10 days post op so im wondering if it will be safe for me to carry those items (eg. bag full of fruits) which maybe a little heavy for post op?

2. I used to be a C cup when i was around 17 but i lost a lot of weight rapidly when i was 18 so now i have really deflated small boobs. I still have to wear a 34B but unable to fill out the cup as i have no volume on the top due to the deflating and sagginess. Wanted to know how your boobs looked like under your outfits post op as I also want to keep this lowkey and not have people questioning me.

3. Anyone heard of bio glue for wound closure before? I am probably opting for it so i dont have to get stitches removed and it will allow me to bathe after the surgery!

I have not scheduled my appointment but i am currently in the process of liaising with the nurse to clear my doubts etc. If all goes well i will be doing it in March! Will definitely want to share my experience then.

Here are some details I can share about my op for now:

Implant of choice: Motiva Ergo, size not chosen yet (Really hard to think?!)
Cost: Roughly 85 Million VND ($4.6k SGD ++)
Includes: Implants, surgery, medication, medical examination and consultation, 1 night hospital stay, funnel method, and surgical wound will be closed with bio glue.
Cost breakdown:
Implants + hospital package: 81 Million ($4.4k++ SGD)
Bio Glue: 3 million ($160+ SGD)
Medicine: 1 million($50+ SGD)

Hope to hear from many of you soon!!

Hi, I am currently 2 weeks away from my 2 months mark and I am feeling so much better now. In fact, I almost forget that I have implants. My right boobie seems to have lost some (40%) sensation. I stayed in bed on D1 and D2 due to the meds/ ache and pain.

I had mine done with Dr Tan from SW1. There is only one thing I am unhappy about... I used to be A cup and he did not do a good job recommending me the implant size based on what I wanted (showed him many pictures of my ideal boob). When I asked for bigger, he kept persuading me to go smaller and lower profile. Dr did mentioned that I have broad upper frame and look bigger than most girls yet I was quite puzzled that the initial size recommended was smaller than the petite girls posted in this forum. Other than that, the team was nice and responsive during the pre and post op care.

If your preference is natural then Dr Tan might be the one for you, else be firm and insist on the bigger size. Don't end up regretting like me (I even consulted two other DRs separately. Both initial size recommendation was way bigger but I didn't take their recommendation as I couldn't find much review of their work so in the end I decided on a size in between what the 3 DRs have recommended)

I'm planning to do boob FG in BKK after reaching the 6 months mark. Can't bear to change to a new bigger implant after paying 20k

1. Go back on Week 3 to be safe.. I wouldn't risk carrying anything before the 1st month mark. I came across some reviews previously where some boobs shifted position and esp if you doing the dual plane method, using too much muscles strength will cause pressure on the upper implant and may result the implant to shift.
2. Scar still visible while approaching my 2 month mark

Hi All,

I did my BA in BKK last month (Dec) and it has been 5 wks since my ops. The clinic i went to was Phoprawin Aesthetic Clinic. I did Motiva Ergo JOY (ergo 2) 335 cc for both side, under the muscle (since its my first time). Wanted to do 355cc but dr cldnt fit it into my breast pocket.

Price: around 10K SGD ++ (includes meds, blood test, anesthesia, 2 surgical bras)
>> With funnel method - extra 10k THB

Breast size b4 ops: small A (i think cld be dbl AA  ) and bra size was 70B. Im abt 156cm tall and 50kg.

Aft ops: full B - small C, hvnt taken my bra size yet as the implants are still dropping (my left side currently healed well but my right side is still high up - cld be due to me using my right muscle too much as im right handed)

I arrived in bkk on 07 Dec and did my ops on 08 Dec (after f2f consult with the Dr on the day itself). Clinic was really clean and the staff, dr were super friendly. They do speak English so communication wasn't an issue. The Dr would go through all the details and concerns you have with the ops, the size of the implants you want and the results, he will also talk about post-op care.

Prior to surgery day, i did an online consult with them via facebook (they have an account) and booked my ops date and paid deposit (roughly 30K THB, managed to nego). I did my blood test in SG (and x-ray - optional) and sent my results to them a few days before ops date. The clinic do offer blood test (included in the price) but i decided to do it in SG js incase smth happens and i cant proceed w the ops.

So after the consult (lasted abt 1hr), they will let you sign some forms before the surgery (all in english so thank god) and you can proceed to make payment (i paid all in cash). After that, they will pass you some meds to take before the surgery. And then, u will proceed to the surgery room for the ops. I knocked out immediately aft the anesthesia came through. The surgery lasted about 2hrs ++.

I woke up from the surgery and still feeling pretty high, they will move u to a recovery room for rest. I cldnt really sleep aft waking up from the anesthesia so i rested abt an hour and just took a grab back to my hotel (my parents accompanied me throughout the entire trip). The car ride is definitely uncomfortable as the anesthesia was still in my system and i felt nauseous and giddy for the entire ride.

After reaching the hotel, i knocked out till evening time, definitely felt the pain and soreness in my chest. My whole chest felt really tight and i have a hard time speaking and breathing fully. I cld only talk like 5 words max and im out of breath. I have a hard time eating and i ended up puking my dinner due to the anesthesia meds. I slept 45 degrees for the whole week (even tho dr said i cld lie flat but i cldnt breathe at all when i lied fully flat). Oh and i hv to sleep with my arms straight as when i try to cross them, my whole chest was cramping and it js felt uncomfortable.

First 2 days aft ops, i cld only stay in hotel and js slept for the whole day, tried walking ard the room for a few mins to circulate blood flow. Didnt rly have the appetite too and i js ate plain white bread with water so i cld eat my meds. Was given arcoxia for pain meds along w paracetamol but i took paracetamol (even tho i was in lots of pain - idek how i survived without arcoxia).

I only started feeling btr on day 3 as i slowly started eating a half-full meal, arms still sore and weak, i cld get up on my own from my bed (was slping 45 degrees) but i cld feel chest hurting. My chest felt tight and i cldnt breathe and talk properly for at least 5 days. Managed to poop on day 3 aft being constipated for daysss.

I managed to get out of my hotel rm on day 4 for a short hair wash and then i went back to the hotel. Yes, i cldnt bathe for 3 wks for my upper body, cld only use towel to wipe down. (And yeah in sg, i had to go to salons to wash my hair).

On day 5, managed to go to siam paragon (for 2 hrs) but i cldnt walk fast or talk while walking, and i had to sit aft walking for awhile.

On day 6, met my friend who was in bkk travelling and we went to cafes, shop ard siam sq area and also, did our nails. My friend helped to open doors and carried my stuff for me since my arms were still weak, and i cldnt risk using strength as it will shift my implants ard with my chest muscle. Survived at least 10 hrs outside.

Day 7, i went back to the dr to clean my wound and also for follow up consult, my boobs were still high up and swollen (hard too) and my body was still bloated. Dr gave me more antibiotics as my wound was healing that fast (mine was dissolvable stitches). Aft the consult, went to eat lunch and js shop for a few hrs b4 heading back to hotel to rest.

Day 8 - went back to sg. Packed my luggage with my parents help and they were the ones pushing the luggages and carrying my bags, they had to open car doors for me too. Plane ride was ok but some kid was kicking my seat so yeaa, pls get a comfy seat or if not the last rows.
I still sleep abt 45 degrees at home (straight) as my chest was still abit tight.

I wasnt able to sleep on my sides for 1 month and i cnt lay on my chest for at least 3 months. Every week i wld send photos to the dr for checks and i cld only remove my wound plaster aft wk 3.

I went back to work on day 10 (but i was wfh for the first 2 days) and i stepped into the office on day 12 (survived the mrt ride while sitting down). I try not to walk too fast and minimize carrying heavy bags or opening doors. Laptop was definitely hard for me to carry. I felt okay gng back to work since im in an office job and i js wear oversize tops to avoid ppl staring, my colleagues still doesnt know that i did BA in bkk.

Day 15 - i went clubbing and drinking w my friends (bad idea cos i blacked out) but boobs were fine (luckily i didnt injure it).

Current update: 1 month and 3 days since ops)
- have to wear my support bra for 3months
- wound is still dark but healing well (im applying scar gel regularly and i avoid using soap on it)
- i cld only sneeze and cough without pain my chest aft 3 wks ++
- i cld breathe properly aft 1 wk ++
- not able to workout for at least 3 months
- my left side has dropped well but not my right side as my right chest muscle is tighter. Dr told me to massage daily in order to expand the breast pocket.
- i use bio oil ard my boobs so it doesnt become too dry.

Am i satisfied with my size, erm...honestly i wish i cldve gone bigger like full C cup but my breast pocket was too small and my chest muscle was too thick so no choice:sad:. So pls, js go big since BA is all abt doing big ritee. I wld prob go back in a few yrs to do D cups haha.

I Am gng back to bkk in 2 wks time for follow up and for a proper holiday:smile:

I've seen a lot replies here using Cosmacare in Bangkok. But does anyone have any feedback from Cosmeditour? They offer packages with hotel stay from $6.9k and operates in a hospital.

My friend told me that it'll be safer since it's a hospital setting.

I've narrowed down my BA choices to these 3 clinics:
1) Cosmacare
2) The Art
3) Cosmeditour

But I gotta admit that most of the reviews I got were from researching on social media. Do you guys have any reviews on them?

Hello! I’m also going to phoprawin end of March for my BA.. so excited. I’m glad you had a good experience with them..

Is there any other things I would need to look out for at the clinic? I’ll be going back to work post op 8th day. I hope I will survive. Haha. I can’t afford to be on leave for so longgggg~

I just found a FB group called "Bustmob", might wanna join that! Besides, I am also reading on reddit.

Currently, I am considering going to Korea instead because I read that their skills for the "endoscope" or something is better and safer.

My right nipple is still numb/ can't really feel when touched. I did and he said its normal and will need to wait and see for the nerves to recover. But anyway I was already aware and prepared for this risk before the surgery as it has been highlighted by a number girls on realself reviews

Previously shared that I had my surgery with Dr Chia Hui Ling. Super happy with my boobs and I still see Dr Chia in her clinic for check ups and also having my botox done with her. I returned to work after 4 days. The top part was pretty full in the first week so I didn’t wear a low neckline in the first week. In a loose top, my boobs didn’t stick out much as my chest was still tight in the first few weeks, not obvious I would say. I had waterproof dressings so I could shower the same evening after surgery. Hope this is helpful for you!

Hi babe, I also decided to go with Dr Chia. Cos she’s very assuring. Glad to hear that you are able to return to work after 4 days. I’ve delayed my BA but the more I think about it I’m freaking out cos of the recovery process.
