i'm curious on the St. Tropez bag, how are the "flaps" of leather held onto the bag? What is underneath, I guess I mean, what is the whole bag, the part under the flaps, is that leather too? and, is there serial numbers on all of these bags? Thanks, you guys are giving me a good education!

The flaps are all leather, they are kind of stitched on. Underneath it just kind of looks like a sack. The lining is a nice suede :D I'm not sure where the serial is, never looked.

Thanks for the info btw! :D I'll definitely think about ordering it. Saw the saddle version of the gaucho today and its white, so I need to choose. I don't need 2 white bags in the same week :laugh:

wtf they dont have a box for it??? Go down to the boutique, they'll give you a box, if you're near one :D They gave me like 3 boxes for mine, so I could see which one fit the best even though it was being mailed from the Houston boutique.

The inside lining of mine definitely feels like suede, always assumed it was black suede :D Is the inside of the smaller one different?

Yea, I know., i'm not sure what she meant by that, how does she think she is going to ship it, in a usps box??? maybe i'll go down there, i'm in a chicago suburb so I could probably go downtown, I don't go down there much at all, it's always so congested........anyway, no she didn't say that about the lining, I was wondering because a girl at work, i guess a friend of her mom's has one, and she said the lining was like a material, she thought it was anyway....

When they shipped mines, they put it in a plain white box. Inside was some white tissue paper and it was taped in black tissue paper with the YSL stickers. Inside of that was the bag inside of the dustbag.

First of all, sorry it took so long, but I got locked out of my apt this weekend (stupid access card). So here is my St. Tropez. I have some other pics, but they're all a bit blurry. So what I did was I placed it on my blog because I don't have one bit of a clue as to how I fix the picture to lower the size.

Did you get the smaller $795 one? I saw this on someone today. It's gorgeous! Does the st. tropez fit under your arm. I think I want one now!:shame: :nuts:
