I am still looking for mine. I've spent hours and $ trying to get that piece that I can wear all the time, but I still haven't found it. It's not my wedding ring. I love DH but the ring isn't what I'd call a signature piece. I'm having my dad's old Omega Automatic from the 1950's refurbished. That might make it as a sig. piece -- at least for awhile anyway...

Strangely enough, it is not my wedding set. My signature pieces are also the least fussy pieces--my diamond studs and my VCA small cosmos pendate. Most of the time, they are the only thing I will wear. I'm rather lazy, you see.

Other than my wedding ring and a gold bracelet with my grandmother's platinum wedding rings that hang from it, (so she stays with me, passed away two years ago and I still miss her so much:sad: ....) I wear a diamond band on each index finger-one yellow gold, one white gold. Probably weird, but I like thinking if I am going to flip someone off, my finger is going to look smashing. :lolots:

for a signature piece...I really enjoy a very large carat gemstone ring. the ring I choose to wear is dependent on my mood & my ensemble.

But "my signature" piece is my VCA butterflies BTF ring. I wear it every day any people always comment on it and remember me for it. It is truly my signature piece and one thing that I will never regret buying for myself. :love:

This was what I was getting at. Besides your basics.........is there a piece that you feel sort of defines or symbolizes something about you...

I wear my diamond studs and my wedding set daily, but my RHR is usually an 18K Gucci horsebit ring. I get a lot of compliments on it and people notice it a lot, and since it doesn't have stones I can wear it for almost anything without worrying about comfort or damaging the ring.

My 5 TCW diamond studs that I hardly wear or my 14 TCW diamond TB that I've worn daily for many years.
I always get the "wow factor" when I wear my studs...don't know why I don't wear them more often???

necklace: tiffany atlas pendant with diamonds on the side or my diamond marquis butterfly necklace

bracelets: H bracelets in clic clac or leather, gold band with vca mother of pearl and/or onyx

My basics are what defines me. :p But seriously, I am not big on jewelry, so I have do not have a "signature" piece, just what I wear regularly. Now, if you are talking about clothing, then I am known for wearing mainly whites--and I guess that would be my signature look.
