All of my LV is old, ha! But my oldest is my Speedy 30 from 1982 - 34 years old this year.

I can definitely see that the opening is very small. Sometimes it can be difficult to get certain objects out.

I own a cabas mezzo from 2000. It is so sturdy and beautiful! Vintage is the way to go. I wish that LV still sold this bag. The cabas alto is on my wish list!

my poche is sl0957 so its from 97, them my speedy is 2003. Dont know what the other ones are but have to be from 2009 and later

I have the Cabas Mezzo too, and a few months ago I found a Cabas Alto in excellent condition at a great price. Love them both! Hope you find one.
