Yes, that's my first LV and I'd choose Epi Leather in Red. It is very durable.

My oldest is an Ellipse shopper I got in 1996. I guess that makes her 14 by now. Wow. time flies!
She currently resides in the closet of my mother, but she still looks stunning. I might go and sneak a picture next time Im there for show and tell - it really looks swesome still!

Mine is not a bag. Here is my ludlow wallet in monogram mat (violet) which I got in 2002 or 2003. I wish LV still made goods in this leather, it's so a pretty and shimmery.

I remember when this colour came out, its stunning!

I still have several items in lovely condition purchased for me in the late 1980's (88 onwards). As a third generation female LV lover in my family, I have been very fortunate to receive much loved, beautiful vintage items handed down to me. I am super lucky to have a very beautiful luggage item from the early 1930s which is very precious to me and probably my oldest LV piece.

That is beautiful! I love patina on the older bags, and for being 1982, that's in pretty good condition!

out of curiousity if you don't mind me asking, how much was the pochette 10 years ago? I just look at my 2005 receipt and it was $230 for the pochette lol now it's well over 300!! crazy how the prices change overtime

When I got mine back in the late 90's it was $145!!! I ripped it and just got a new one for my bday and it was $325!!!
