Awesome! It looks pretty on you. How does the color compare to the orange box? Just curious, as the seller included that.
Thank you, momasaurus! Not my best color (I do best with blues, and have a ton of them!), but with enough makeup I pull it off...:amuse:
As for the orange box, the scarf is a totally different orange. That's why I honestly think it's accurate to call it persimmon. It's a much lighter shade. I believe it was @marietouchet who once posted that H scarves should never be photographed in their box, because the camera compensates for the deep orange of the box and throws off the coloring of the scarf, making it very difficult to "read" its true color.

Thank you HoneyLocks!!!! :hugs:Turandot is finally mine. I can live with the condition for that price! And I won't baby it since it is preloved, so it will get worn and I won't feel guilty for messing it up. Now one day to find the red cw.......and slink ban to Ban Island.
How exciting! Congratulations on your Turandot, SG.

What a beauty! It ties great :-)
And I loved your story, brings the silk to life!

Thank you! I wish I knew then what I know now regarding the other treasures FSH held!!!

I love Tapis. This is a great CW! Love your story, too. Congrats!!!

Thank you, momasaurus!!!

I've always liked this design. This one is beautiful.

Kindred spirits [emoji173]

It should be one , and it is so seldom available. I love the starry border.

Yes, dear frou frou!!! When the C'est la fete is tied and also Magic Kelly- the stars make those so pretty!! I love this starry border!

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful and lovely story :hugs:she definitely worth cheering for:loveeyes:

Thank you doll! Can't wait to see you soon!!! [emoji173]

What a great story and a fabulous scarf!! I'm so glad you have joined our silkie community lately as well! There are only a few of us men on here.

Aww- you inspire me to love what I love and rock my scarves as much as possible. Trying out more knots and now scarf rings!!! Thank you for being so welcoming- although I have been a LONG time lurker [emoji6]

Charming story... I think many of us remember the first Hermès scarf that send us sliding down the orange ski slope! :graucho:

Yes! Love the Turandot on you- just so amazingly gorgeous. I actually wrote one of my senior papers in college a long time ago on Turandot- so it is always super intriguing to me! Just beautiful!

You guys had a fun and busy day. Congratulations on your beautiful grails csestos and froufrou

Thank you PbP!!! [emoji173]

Thank you so much. Just a navy thing from Gap. Their solid colored tops show off scarves rather nicely, I think! With all the H I buy, there's little left over for pricey clothes. :p

You are a smart dresser to mix the high and the low so beautifully.

Oh dear HoneyLocks, you are right about the color not being orange , but rather mustard yellow.

However, you are wrong about nobody buying a mustard scarf![emoji12] I looove mustard yellow and would snap this up in a heartbeat!! U

But, then you are right again about the price...[emoji22]

It's too much $$$

Now...here are some examples of how I would wear this (for argument sake let's pretend it's been authenticated and is deemed ok)....
Just for fun...but shoot, I think I convinced myself that I need this scarf![emoji15]

I love how you have shown these great outfits!
998 is my favorite. Love the skirt, the pendant, love it all.

These outfits are great styleEyes. How are you making these "looks?" Is this an application? Are these clothes all your own pieces? Whatever you're doing, it sure looks like this colorway of Turandot can find its way into your closet!

View attachment 3577240 View attachment 3577244 One of my favourite threads and I realise I haven't shared my latest G scarf!
So far we haven't spoken about Zabavushka!
It refers to the museum of children's toys in Moscow, and all the pieces depicted here are in that museum . It seems to have been slotted into the Christmas scarf category , but I never think of it like that .
For me it's Russian and speaks of high passion and dark Winters.
It was a must from the start but I balked at the price when I started collecting.
I adore the Russian themed scarves even more than the Indian ones, and am enjoying acquiring them in a gradual non- feverish sort of way .
Anyway ,here it is , a multicoloured exuberant scarf . I find the blend of colours very wearable , and love the folksy brown and white border.

Fabulous! I have balked at the prices and am wary of fakes, but have also been on the lookout for a Zaba. Wear it in good health!

This is a fabulous scarf and we don't see nearly enough of it on tpf. Congrats!

You did. For $675! [emoji15]

You didn't buy it?
They are never cheap, but the latest prices ……..

Will post pix of the lime zaba when back at desktop tomorrow morning

I'm longing to see it ! That's the other c'way that is my sort of colour mix, and so I just need to make sure I don't do anything silly !
The black one used to be the megastar and the most expensive, but I haven't seen it on Ebay for many a month.
Yet , dear reader, maybe one will appear soon?
