Yes, it was the one I was considering. It is a gorgeous cw and I think you will love it. I love my pink one but you can see me from a mile away it. Not for days when you want your clothes to whisper. I was on the fence because I am in school (graduate not college) and I already have a beloved India so I couldn't justify buying at that price for an already loved 90cm. Maybe one day!

Hi! Awww, sorry. That's always hard when watching and it slips away. Has happened to me many times. You're so lucky to have the pink one though, I love that one. There are times when we want bright and whimsical no? Besides that pink is SO a true color of India, it's perfection. Had I not acquired Ex-Lib Kimonos at the time, I'd have gone for the pink one this seller had also offered a while back. But alas, I couldn't do it, and I watched it slip away. But I'm over it now that I have this one on its way.

So this one is BNIB, so unless I count the mannequin it's unworn. But I hear you, the price was a bit steep (research indicated about $100 more than most BI's have sold for), but I had never seen this cw before on the resale market, so I worried it wouldn't come up again anytime soon, and I'm having enough of an Impossible Dream with pink Coupons Indiens! :shucks:

Twins yet again!! I have the same colorway (and the pink one:graucho:). Congratulations for finding it, and wear it in good health!!

Wow! Lucky girl to have both! So very delighted to soon be your twin, thank you!

You're doing very well at shrinking your Grails list! Congrats!

Thanks! Pretty fast! :cray: Luckily it wasn't all that long to begin with. Because naturally, I had to fall for the ones that sell above retail. Sigh. One left!

Feel not guilty. You just saved my bank account from another unnecessary charge. I say unnecessary only because I have not my silks for months, since the new baby arrived, and the light at the end of the tunnel is far far away. As penance however, you must certainly model this scarf for us when it arrives, and of course let me know if you see it on the market for a reasonable price.

I sure will! Though BI at a reasonable price is hard indeed.

Congratulations on the new baby! How wonderful!

The ardoise use cw is the best because I think the colors of the elephant really work , I find the gray elephant toes disconcerting on the pink cw , leave it to me to toe obsessed lol

So glad you think so!

And on the other one I considered with the brown background and pink/red accents (also a gray elephant, but dark) I always saw red toenail polish on the elephant's toes. Which, mind you, is not actually there. But for some reason I see it!

Actually when it was in the stores, folded up all you saw was the mani pedi in the bottom right hand corner

I promised something on snowflakes and this is more wintery than snowflaky, & not my best effort in photography but

I dont do girly colors, like baby pink and light blue, dove gray for wintery scenes

I do TROPICAL colors !!! This is a Plaisirs du Froid from the 1950s, Who knew they did kooky stuff like this back then ???

The green is exactly the shade of the skin of a Key Lime and the pink and blue are not bashful

I like this scarf because it is an example of how some of the oldies can be be found in colors that do not look too granny-like

MaiTai has great photos of her PdF in action
