I'm so glad I discovered this thread! It's so fun!

This made me realize I never wear this non designer bag anymore which is a shame because it's cute and I get a ton of compliments when I do wear it.

1. Beijo Cobalt Blue Studded Tote
2. Approx. $100 (?) I've had it since 2002ish
3. I never carry it anymore which is nuts. It's going back in the rotation.
4. Kate Spade is definitely the non designer brand most likely to get me to "cheat" on my designer bags. I also love / hate Michael Kors. I have two of his bags that I had to buy and I love carrying them.
5. I buy my bags pre-loved (but in excellent or like new condition) because I loooooove deals. So my most expensive spend on a bag was $3750 - the Chanel Black Patent Jumbo Classic Flap that I just bought!!! Love her!

I'm going to also add this "bag" - Victoria's Secret Patent Bow tote. I paid around $30 on eBay.

I don't know if it qualifies because I only use it as a beach tote. But it's perfect for that. It keeps my things dry and sand free and has tons of room for towels, magazines, sunscreen, snacks, etc. and it's a great pop of color against my bikinis!

  1. Favourite Non-Designer Handbag: Big Buddha Woodstock
  2. How much was it: I think the first one was $25 after a huge sale, and $30 for the second. Original price was $90!
  3. How often do you use it/what for: Everyday for a long time. I have it in two colours. Usually a daybag and travel bag because it's so big
  4. Favourite brands that aren't designer: Big Buddha, Nine West, Aldo
  5. The most you've paid for a handbag: $450 USD for an MBMJ Hillier
  6. Attach image(s) for #1 if you can: I uploaded the two colours I have, and one of me with it!

I had to retire the green version last week and throw it out after brining the bag to jamaica. The handle started to peel and the snap closure started to tear. It was probably the humidity. Good thing I still have the orange one. At least my $30 lasted me for a good 4 years!

Mine is also a Big Buddha bag!

Favourite Non-Designer Handbag: Big Buddha Kaitlyn in grey
How much was it: I think it was $90, but I bought it with a gift card on Amazon.
How often do you use it/what for: I have a ton of bags in different sizes and colors and I rotate through at least three bags a week depending on my outfit. I do wear this one a lot, though, as it is my only grey bag, and it's a fantastic neutral.
Favourite brands that aren't designer: I don't know that I have a favorite brand--I don't even graviate toward one luxury designer over another. I just have favorite bags.
The most you've paid for a handbag: Er, too much
Attach image(s) for #1 if you can: Stock photo below, but it doesn't do it justice. I get complimented on this bag more than any other I own.
