Never been a fan of DG as well,it was the first thing i purchased from yoox from this brand ,but i liked that bag when i saw it on the official store and thought it was a bargain purchasing it .It's not about yoox , it's about how some fashion houses work nowadays and label their items as "Made in Italy".This backpack is the exact same thing that all stores carry with the slightly different thing mentioned before and only one thing comes to my mind:
"Made in Italy" is the luxury's world phrase for "Made in China" .

It's very hard to believe that the company that manages the official D&G website (see http://www.yooxgroup.com/en/online_stores/online_stores_yooxgroup.asp) is selling fake D&G products. It could be a sample.

I've had nothing but best experience with them. That being said, I never bought D&G from Yoox.

I think this has more to do with how YOOX operates as a discount site. Like most other discount sites, Iam guessing they buy from various suppliers and buy entire containers sight unseen. That is the only way they can get the best price, rather than having to sort through containers and pick and choose. In this case, it would be very easy for an unscrupulous supplier to pass off a fake as the real one.

Hopefully YOOX will take note of the reason for the return, and blacklist the supplier.

Also, Made In Italy no longer means what it used to. Read the article below for more information.

^Interesting article. But I think it's funny they quote Miuccia Prada, especially since all her red label products are made in China.

I think it comes down to quality for me - regardless of designer. If I get something that isn't right (stitching is off, fit is weird, fabrics feel cheap) I don't really care where they're made, they go back.

That said, I may have gotten less than desirable things from Yoox, but never fakes. Hopefully the DG bag is a rare experience.

I repeat myself ,because i think i didn't make myself clear. It wasn't a bad copy. It's the same bag ,material etc etc as sold in Dolce & Gabbana boutiques ,but someone during the process in China put the wrong inside tags,so this product didn't reach the stores.Even the hologram is 100% original.
This smells bad,i sent an email to yoox yesterday and still ,after 30 hours ,haven't got a reply yet.Usually, i get my replies really fast as a superstar.
