Yes or No to the Simon Miller Bonsai bags?

This is stunning! I don't remember if my friend had any flaws with hers. Mine did have some glue residue but I was able to take it off. I don't see any mark on yours though.

I just got the Bonsai 15 (mini) in moss green nubuck/silver handles and it came with a crossbody/shoulder strap.
I think when the tiniest one (15 cm) first debuted in Dec 2015, there was no strap, then the next 1 or 2 years it came with one (awesome!) and now it doesn’t again…strange.
Also I noticed the earlier ones are stamped Made in USA, then later bags marked Italy and France.
Perhaps it depends on the type of leather or even production issues during the pandemic…and also the screws in the strap differ.
Does anyone know why this is?
Mine was from Barney’s which was the first store to carry the bag (then Net-a-Porter).

I can’t answer your questions but you just reminded me that I really need a green bag in my life!

How odd that they removed the strap after adding it. You bought yours directly from Barney’s if I understand you correctly? So yours does not have a strap?

Do you happen to know if the largest one was ever produced with a strap?
