I have always loved white metals for the longest time. I hated yellow metals...but now that they are back in, I'm wearing yellow gold too! My wedding set is platinum, and I prefer diamonds to be set in platinum or white gold. But I love the look of the gold MK watches, or a gold chain with charms. I just got a pair of gold 10mm bead earrings to go with my new yellow gold addiction....

I'm really struggling with this. How do you ladies make a transition? I love all of it but the majority of my collection is white. But i really am loving yellow lately. My watch is white and i wear a lot of Tiffany's silver. But i am acquiring a yellow bracelet and want to set my e-ring upgrade in yellow. But it feels strange.

I used love yellow gold more than white. Then I learned to love both eaqually. And now I love white metals more than yellow for everyday wear & the longest time. As my second Love Bracelet, I decided 100% to go for the YG one, but now it seems I want VCA bracelet Perlee satin finish in WG more!!!:D

I like yellow better, but I am from the '80s, e-ring wise and there seemed more YG settings then.

I like YG jewelry better but don't have much of it, or any gold jewelry for that matter (just cuz of $$)

im an old school guy.....i prefer yellow gold......the way it was meant to be....lol

i see white gold.....and feel i could be looking at silver or stainless steel.....lol

Like may others have posted, I prefer diamonds set in platinum or white gold because I feel the stones just look cleaner without a yellow cast from the yg.
For other jewelry, I prefer yg.. I began collecting VCA last Spring and all of it is set in yg. To me, it just looks/feels a lot more regal in the yg.
Love it all, really.......

Ever since I read a book years ago about flattering clothing and jewelery colors for different skin tones and hair colors it has been nothing but white metal for me, as much as I hated to hear it at the time as I used to love YG. But the advice was spot on; YG does nothing for my coloring.
