But not all my gold accessories are in 24k. They are too soft for daily wear and can't hold any gems or stones. I have some in 22k too. My 2-tone rolex watches are definitely in 18K gold. i absolutely love yellow gold!

i am a yellow gold girl - i have fair skin and light eyes and hair so i've always thought yellow gold looks better on me. plus, i came of age during the time of the 80s when yellow gold was popular so i think i've always favored it because of that too.

platinum, white gold and silver look great on darker skin and darker hair or gray hair in my opinion. i have a two-toned Michele watch and some David Yurman pieces that are two-tone but nothing that doesn't have yellow in it.

These are my day to day pieces. I will wear my plain gold wr if I'm home, and usually put on my diamond and eternity band when I go out. I wear my little sideways cross everyday. My love is yg, the juc is pink. Thanks for letting me share, it's nice to not be alone as a yg lover!

I've always been a YG fan. Gold, after all, IS yellow by nature. For white metals, I prefer platinum. My skin wears away plating faster than anyone I know, so most white gold isn't suitable for daily wear for me unless it is unplated. My wedding set, RHR, tennis bracelet and most other pieces are YG.
