Aww what a shame. So sorry to hear that.
I lost a diamond 50 point eternity ring the other day if that's any consolation, don't know where it went. Old age in my case lol
Would love to see your new watch when it arrives.
It’s an 18ct white gold Graff watch-it’s quite hard to find white gold quartz watches…hopefully I’ll have it within the next week, although I’ll probably change the strap..

I recently sold my 31mm floral dial Rolex because i didnt like the dark floral face.

I may choose one of these. As the designs appeal to me. For everyday wear
All preowned in VGC with the papers and box.

1.Yachtmaster 29mm 200-2009
2.Datejust 26mm Factory set diamonds 1988
3. Oyster Prepetual 31mm 2010 mint cond

Not sure which one to go for
Any ideas?

I prefer the DJ over all three. Personally, I'm not a fan of the YM or the OP.

For everyday wear, I like the Oyster Perpetual 31. It's a good size and easy to read.

I would steer you away from the Datejust with the champagne hands and face. I have one (also the 26 mm size). It is damn near impossible to read in some lights. I haven’t worn it in years, and I imagine it would be worse as I have aged and my close up vision has gotten worse. The hands blend into the face like you wouldn’t believe—there is no contrast. The number of times I read the time wrong because I caught the second hand and thought it was the minute hand….you wouldn’t believe it. It’s a beautiful timepiece but that watch made me a believer that you need at least *some* contrast between hands and face for the watch to actually be useful as a watch.

I would go with #3. Though #2 is beautiful, it is definitely more of a special occasion watch in my eyes.
My mother has a 1987 datejust in that exact design & size with diamond markers, fluted bezel, but in solid gold. It is definitely eye catching and I personally wouldn’t wear it daily because it’s soo dressy looking.
The question I would ask myself if I were you, is do any of these watches fill a void in your collection? Do you lack 2 tone watches or sport watches? Do you have mainly diamond marker watches? Or are they mainly illuminated markers? Etc…
And which could you ultimately see yourself wearing daily?

I hope I didn’t confuse you, but that’s how I usually narrow my watch purchases down!

Thank you for this i need a clear face and easy to read watch. My close up vison too is quite bad without my glasess. So this design would be no good. My Omega is easily readable, has lots of diamonds and ia 26mm and is a stunner.

This has narrowed my decision x

Sorry I didn’t post my watch here -it’s an 18ct white gold Tank on a bespoke midnight ostrich strap on a deployment buckle
