it's a macy's exclusive and they have it there attached to their bags.
and while i have seen this particular style i really doubt it's real (sorry!)
that front pocket is crooked. the c's are a bit off and that thing hanging off of the creed is too wierd and blurred.
if you look at the picture, on your left hand, the c's are off. one of them cuts another one off.
Very nice bag...i can see why some thought it was fake, but the bag just looks too perfect (inside and all) to be fake
I agree - I still think it's real. I've been searching the forums because someone posted photos of a wallet from the same collection and everyone thought it, too, was fake until the person said they bought it from a Coach store. I can't find the thread and it's driving me crazy!

This wallet looks the same as the patchwork bag we're talking about. The C's are off on the left side and there is a seam on the right side that's not on the left. They appear to be from the same collection.

Yeah that was me...I was comparing it to the catalog, in the catalog the stitching isn't like that at all, so it just looked funny to me. But, seeing this bag from the same collection I'm guessing it's real. But, still hard to say. Like Mrs. Whitney said one of the Cs on the left side is cut off by another C.
Actually, it's not a Macy's exclusive.....it's available through Coach!!! Maybe you haven't read my responses - in the Japan cataloge - and Mokoni's who also said she called Coach?!?!?!?!?
That "thing" hanging off the creed is a tag that says Limited Edition on the bottom line and that is where she got the #866 of 1000. You have to look closely, but that is what it says!!!
The CC's are cut off and facing different directions in some areas - THAT is what makes it Patchwork.....since it is obviously all one material. It took me a bit of looking at the different designs in the Japan catalogue to figure out why it was called Patchwork - it's the stitching and the way the material is cut and laid in different directions.
I am going to scan the catalogue now and post it. You will hopefully be able to see what I am talking about. But like I said, the catalogue is small so I hope they come out!!! I guess if I have to ruin this catalogue to get clear pictures, hopefully the woman who got it for me can get me another

Really? We had a customer come in with it and she said she got it at a purse party and JAX told me that there are no scarves with Coach 65th ann. on it! However, we know how JAX is sometimes.
opps. i mean macy's exclusive as in they ordered it from JAX and we don't get it. not yet anyways. it could be a test as the stripes were, and they were at macy's before coach.
they have the carly bag as well and i'm sure if you look on tools of the trade you'll see it, and all the details, but nearly impossible to order through coach itself =P
corundogs, something still feels fishy about that bag. maybe coach is coming out with a different set of patchwork we've never seen before, but on top of that pocket it doesn't look like C's but something else all together? you're right. i haven't read any of your older comments so i really stuck my foot in my ass that time.
but the wallet doesn't have that funky pattern either. or maybe just the front doesn't and i can't see and once again my foot is in my ass.

I think JAX = Jacksonville, FL, I think the Coach warehouse is there ... I had to send a bag there once to be repaired.
