Wow. Lots of real good deals over there at the Fake Coach Factory Onlne!

A sad commentary on this...there are a couple of Cooch marine duffles right now on eBay for fairly high prices and they are masquerading as regular Coach duffle....the only way I realized they were fake is the style number isn't the Coach style number, and when I googled it, the Cooch sites came up. They insist that they are authentic and they are using Coach pics. I was going to try to find out where you report that kind of thing....

Report the specific auctions/sales to ebay for them to take them down

I wonder if they are trying to sell duffles from FOS, and they just haven't received them yet. I have seen that, when something is a great deal on FOS, ebay re-sellers mark up the price w/a stock picture.

-someone in the FOS thread mentioned the different code for the marine duffle

I thought of that...I wonder if the fake Cooch site actually has some real ones from FOS mixed in?

Something strange I noticed at an outlet a couple of times. There were people there with black and white photo copies of Coach handbags, a stack of 25 - 30 pages. The sheets of paper had pictures of the bags and the dimensions and looked like they came from a website (not Coach.com). The people were comparing the bags (both MFF and FP) to the photos. I'm sure it had something to do with resellers and I kept looking around for a manger or SA to say something but no one did! I witnessed this twice at the Factory store at Milpitas. It was interesting to say the least......

While these really pathetic fakes are pretty amusing, the sad part is that somewhere in China, a worker, possibly a child, is most likely working in dangerous conditions for low pay to produce the items. It's bad enough for workers who make legitimate brand name products, but can you imagine what happens when you're working for, basically, criminals? I don't feel sorry at all for anyone who buys one of these bags thinking they got a huge bargain, unless it's a kid or with developmental disabilities who wants to buy a present for Mother's Day. Anyone else ought to know better.

There are people who buy bags to take back to friends in other countries since it is so much cheaper to buy in the US. The pictures are probably wish lists.

That would explain why the SA's didn't do anything. Maybe they chatted with them before I walked in. It just seemed weird because they were doing it openly. I was worried the Coach police were going to run in and "shake us all down" but I can be a bit dramatic at times!

I was curious and did an eBay search for "Coach Marine Duffle" and the style numbers showing are what's on the FOS now for that vermillion and marine duffle. 31242. They copied the pictures from the FOS though. My vermillion duffle with the same style number came in today.

That is bizarre...why would Coach renumber a deleted item? Good thing I didn't report those sellers, looks like they are selling real duffles from the outlet. Unfortunately, the Cooch fake site is selling the same thing.

So, I see that this thread has taken a more serious, analytical tone. Therefore, allow me to introduce some lovely handbags from the Cooch "Sling Bags Outlet," as in, I assume, where you sling your good taste in the garbage.

and when I saw that, the site informed me "I might also be interested" in this:

Well, yes, indeed!

I've seen Asian sites with bags listed, offering to purchase these bags (authentic Coach) for the buyer, usually with a waiting period of several months. So I'm guessing - these were the US-based buyers who were looking for the bags to match the pre-sales in the other country.

Not condoning it, but the mark-up on this side of the pond is pretty steep, pretty steep indeed.
