Yes I've waited outside if they feel there are too many people. This happens during a holiday weekend when the malls are crazy. there's a lot of Columbus Day sales going on now.
Thanks for reminding me about the Columbus sale. Haha! I went there around lunchtime. I’m not sure if the place was packed but it didn’t look like it from the outside but I wasn’t so sure. Maybe I’ll go on a weekday next time.

Interesting. I've never had to. Was in the store yesterday and walked right in. And the store is in a popular mall.
Lucky you! I guess I’ll have to come by on a weekday to shop.

Did you manage to get the bag you wanted?
YEEESSS! I've been wanting a small Blooms boston bag and they had one! I'm not into logo (like AT ALL) but since buying my Arabesque boston bag, I'm pretty hooked. I don't know how Gucci does it but Gucci is the only brand that can make logos attractive for me.
I've always been a Balenciaga girl bit since getting my very first Disco it's been a slippery slope for me with Gucci.
Haven't done a reveal because everyone is probably tired of seeing Blooms.

The Canton Road Gucci Store in Hong Kong, the biggest Gucci store in terms of sales, is always busy and stuffed with tides of people especially after the takeover of Alessandro Michele. There are like 6000 foot traffics everyday but you can barely find a very long line outside the store. They allow people enter the store even if there are not enough staffs to provide one-to-one service. FYI, more than 100 pieces of women's handbags sold everyday in Canton Road Store, not to mention the great rages of New Ace Sneakers and ready to wear.

Nope, I think I speak for many, we love all reveals

Recently visited Gucci in Auckland and Sydney while traveling abroad and there was not much of a line at all  but then again it was in the morning so maybe I beat the crowd! I always like shopping early in the morning

I finally got my blooms card case which I've been eyeing for a while and gave in and bought some Princetown mules. I'm praying they don't hurt my feet!

I had to line up for Gucci in Paris some years ago, but never in Italy.. in my experience it hasn't been so crowded lately (at least Milan, Venice, Florence, Bologna, Padua etc.)... except maybe in outlets

I guess it also depends on the number of tourists currently present in the area etc.

This is true, on the other hand a brand has to be popular and the exchange rate quite good for that to make an impact

Thank you for your report, that's very interesting. Are the prices the same as in mainland China (if you know)?
