If you like it, why not? I have the black shoulder bag, am getting it in pond and thought about whiskey or white after that. But if you can afford it and will use it then I see no reason why it hurts to have several different colors, especially if you don't like any of the other styles.

Wow!

aarti- first, I love the bal in your avatar - is that dolma? I'm so jealous too - I really want a bbag, but have to wait until my bday (no pun intended) to get one! But back to topic, I think you're right about giving it time - I was actually trying to control myself from buying anything (but small accessories - can't control myself completely) until the next PCE.

holly di, handbag helen and bethy - I definitely love this style and do use the 2 colors I have in different ways. For some reason, I just adore this style. BUT, I really am thinking that I might not get as much use out of a third. At this point, I am definitely leaning more toward just the wristlet. That way I get the color, but do have something I can use differently. And it would match a lot of other bags I already have . . .

You are all so helpful!

I can't keep up with everyone! But thanks so much for the feedback - I love hearing that other people get multiples of the same style too . . . at least I'm not alone!!

Thanks again everyone!

I have two Coach hanbags in the same style. One is in brown suede
and the other is in tobacco. I love both of these bags. I also own the Coach Ergo 9228 and loved it so much I bought it in the smaller size Coach
Ergo 9227. I do the same thing with shoes. Since I have a wide foot, when I find something that is truly comfortable I buy it twice. Two bags in the same style should be sufficient. You might want to wait and buy something
from the new spring line when it comes out which should be in March/April.

i see nothing wrong with buying 2-3 of the same style if you really love it. i do this and use them for different wardrobe combos. the pond could be your bag for spring, and the whiskey for fall, the black for winter . . .

If you are worried about not getting as much use out of the 3rd bag, I suggest getting a different style but in the same color as you would have gotten the 3rd one. Lets say you want to get the third bag in a smaller size, its going to be used during different situations than the other two. I am all for getting many colors but I like to get a vararity of bags (mainly size wize) to accomodate my needs.

The Legacy Shoulder is just Such a good quality and comfortable bag. I see no reason why we shouldn't all have one of EVERY color!

I have the Whiskey and hope tog et the black if I can save up the funds before it goes away.

I've got two of the same bags, one white, one black...there's nothing silly about it - if you love the style--what's the point of getting a different bag all together just to have another color?

I have never done this with leather purses, I always buy the same summer purse if I really like it, I tend to use light material bags, or knit and I know they will get dirty, so I buy two.

Again, thanks for the input everyone - I appreciate it! It's really is good to know I'm not insane- I truly do think of the 2 shoulder bags I have now as 2 completely different bags, because they each have to be used so differntly.

Still not sure on what I'll ultimately wind up doing, but it's great to hear everyone's opinions! Thanks again!
