Would you carry a black bag year round?

I tend to wear lighter-coloured bags during the summer months because black bags absorb heat and make the bag - and its contents - warm or even hot to the touch. But I spend less on the lighter-coloured bags than I would for a dark-coloured bag because I know that they'll attract dirt and stains in no time.

I love black bags in fact all my bags would be black if i could. But I do tend to carry other colour comes Summer: chocolate, navy, tan, just because the sun could get really hot and I don't like the faded, dusty effect it has on my black bags.

I never carry ONE BAG year round. I change bags just about everyday but I would wear a black bag at any time of the year.

I wear black bags year round, but I like changing it up so I don't really go by season... doesn't matter if it's hot or cold, I'll wear whichever color bag I'm in the mood for on that day.

Yes, though I think I'd stay away from huge black bags in the summer... but I small-ish black purse is just fine even with a sundress, in my opinion.

Not every day as I also love colourful bags - I don't rule it out. It completely depends on the type of black bag, size, finish etc and how it ties in with the look I'm going for.

I always buy black bags but right now I'm trying to be more open to color. I just think it depends on your personal style and comfort zone.

I agree with everyone that black is a classic and can be worn all year but... I tend not to wear much black in the spring and summer months and like to reserve my black bags for the autumn and winter so that it feels fresh again. I prefer a tan/luggage color in the warmer months. I do wear my gray all year because it's not extremely dark and it lends to every color in the rainbow.

I might, depending on my outfit but generally no - I really feel like going lighter and brighter in the Summer even if it's a straw basket or a canvas bag.

I'm not really into black bag so I have a lot of medium or deep hue, that way I still get to carry colored bag without being afraid them getting dirty!
