to me, the only appeal of these peculiar Damier pieces is the collectibility factor... they're made for the 100th Anniversary of the Monogram Canvas in 1996. take that out of the picture, i think the vachetta doesnt meld with the Damier pattern at all! i think black leather goes well with it much better compared.
Seems like most of us still like the one with chocolate handles best.
