Please don't buy from bharat05, ever.
I won this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200590955523
last Friday, for the amount of 2000 GBP (about $3100 Canadian dollars) and was so excited to finally have the Revelation to add to my collection. I then receive an email from the seller requesting to cancel the purchase. The reason? "The seller did not provide a reason". So, with my money in their hands, I ask why we are all of a sudden cancelling this transaction. Days go by with no answer, only to find this listing on eBay that this seller posted on April 2, 1 day after I won my auction:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200593566111
I got an email back from the seller today, April 4, and here is what it said (quoted directly from the email):
"Unfortunately, the bag is no longer for sale as the winning price was too low. Apologies in advance for any inconvenience caused."
With no reserve in the original auction, I feel it is completely unacceptable to refuse the sale of an item on the basis of the final price not being high enough. No attempt to contact me all weekend, no mention of a refund. And does anyone else find it a bit suspicious that this seller, who has made it clear that they want the final price to be as high as possible, has kept the bidders list private? I have a feeling they're using other usernames they've signed up for to bid on the bag and increase its price until it gets to the amount they're happy to accept. I don't know, I guess I'm just really disgusted by this seller and wouldn't put it past them to do something as unsavory as this.
This experience only solidifies my love for shopping at LV boutiques for their bags. The friendly SA's, the beautiful lighting, being surrounded by like-minded LV lovers and walking out with that brown paper shopping bag.
There's just nothing like it.
