To paraphrase, he was never charged cause they didn't want to put Dylan though the emotional distraught....not cause there was no evidence.
Those memories that were questioned turned out to make sense upon later investigation
There were other witnesses that contradict Moses
You realize he started an intimate relationship with his adopted daughter (she was adopted at age 9), yes? It started in the late 80s, which makes her 17 - 19 (technically she has no birth cert, but her estimated birthdate is in 1970), so it's highly likely he was intimately involved with her when she was a younger teen and some grooming of her on his part.
Dude is a pedo at least, creepy AF at most.

Not to you, Jayne, but as for the Duke Lacrosse case...while a false claim, that should have never become an issue. The cops and prosecutors let that escalate when it never should.
Soon-Yi was never his adopted daughter. He never lived with the family. Not to say it wasn't creepy, but they are still married over 20 years, with children of their own. What pedophile is not a repeat offender?

Having an attraction to teenage girls is a very different pathology than pedophilia.

To me, Dylan's recent interviews are less trustworthy than her multiple interviews with Child Protection Services, when she was a child.

Her memory was very vague and inconstant at that time and now, as an adult, she suddenly remembers things clearly? Our memories don't work that way. Things become blurred, not precise and systematic.

You are correct, Charles. The Duke case just was so destructive but it was not the same.
I do believe that WA has hurt his daughter and, possibly, others. My only concern is the jumping on the band wagon mentality that may hurt the cases of those truly harmed. Of which, yes, Dylan, is likely one.
Anyone who violates the innocence of a child, whether by sexual abuse, physical violence, emotional terror, deserves no empathy or sympathy, in my book. I cannot grasp the concept of harming anyone, much less, a child. No mercy, none, if proven fact.
I am not saying that women or men who are abused don't deserve to be heard and receive retribution. But, our most vulnerable, our children, deserve justice and protection, even more so. jmho

I am not going to question whether her memories are clearer or manipulated. WA knows if he did this or not. I consider him revolting, regardless.

I believe pederasty is when you are drawn to teens. Still creepy but not pedophilia.

10 UNDENIABLE FACTS ABOUT THE WOODY ALLEN SEXUAL-ABUSE ALLEGATION

This week, a number of commentators have published articles containing incorrect and irresponsible claims regarding the allegation of Woody Allen’s having sexually abused his adopted daughter, Dylan Farrow.

As the author of two lengthy, heavily researched and thoroughly fact-checked articles that deal with that allegation—the first published in 1992, when Dylan was seven, and the second last fall, when she was 28—I feel obliged to set the record straight.

As such, I have compiled the following list of undeniable facts:

1. Mia never went to the police about the allegation of sexual abuse. Her lawyer told her on August 5, 1992, to take the seven-year-old Dylan to a pediatrician, who was bound by law to report Dylan’s story of sexual violation to law enforcement and did so on August 6.

2. Allen had been in therapy for alleged inappropriate behavior toward Dylan with a child psychologist before the abuse allegation was presented to the authorities or made public. Mia Farrow had instructed her babysitters that Allen was never to be left alone with Dylan.

3. Allen refused to take a polygraph administered by the Connecticut state police.Instead, he took one from someone hired by his legal team. The Connecticut state police refused to accept the test as evidence. The state attorney, Frank Maco, says that Mia was never asked to take a lie-detector test during the investigation.

4. Allen subsequently lost four exhaustive court battles—a lawsuit, a disciplinary charge against the prosecutor, and two appeals—and was made to pay more than $1 million in Mia’s legal fees. Judge Elliott Wilk, the presiding judge in Allen’s custody suit against Farrow, concluded that there is “no credible evidence to support Mr. Allen’s contention that Ms. Farrow coached Dylan or that Ms. Farrow acted upon a desire for revenge against him for seducing Soon-Yi.”

5. In his 33-page decision, Judge Wilk found that Mr. Allen’s behavior toward Dylan was “grossly inappropriate and that measures must be taken to protect her.” The judge also recounts Farrow’s misgivings regarding Allen’s behavior toward Dylan from the time she was between two and three years old. According to the judge’s decision, Farrow told Allen, “You look at her [Dylan] in a sexual way. You fondled her . . . You don’t give her any breathing room. You look at her when she’s naked.”

6. Dylan’s claim of abuse was consistent with the testimony of three adults who were present that day. On the day of the alleged assault, a babysitter of a friend told police and gave sworn testimony that Allen and Dylan went missing for 15 or 20 minutes, while she was at the house. Another babysitter told police and also swore in court that on that same day, she saw Allen with his head on Dylan’s lap facing her body, while Dylan sat on a couch “staring vacantly in the direction of a television set.” A French tutor for the family told police and testified that that day she found Dylan was not wearing underpants under her sundress. The first babysitter also testified she did not tell Farrow that Allen and Dylan had gone missing until after Dylan made her statements. These sworn accounts contradict Moses Farrow’s recollection of that day in People magazine.

and more....

I just wanted to say that many pedophiles are victim specific and only ever offend against one child. There is no requirement nor tendency towards multiple complaints.

FORMER MODEL CHRISTINA ENGELHARDT SAYS SHE HAS ‘NO REGRETS’ OVER ALLEGED TEENAGE AFFAIR WITH WOODY ALLEN

A former model has claimed that she was just 16 years old when she embarked on an eight-year romantic relationship with director Woody Allen, who was 25 years her senior and who, on occasion, arranged for her to have threesomes with him and his then-girlfriend, actress and activist Mia Farrow.

Christina Engelhardt, now 59, met Allen in 1976 at Elaine’s restaurant in New York City, she told The Hollywood Reporter for a feature that went live on Monday. Engelhardt, then an aspiring model and a fan of his work, slipped him her phone number, and he later invited her to his penthouse, she said. She alleges that Allen never asked for her age, but she did inform him that she was still in high school. Despite the illegality of their relationship (the age of consent in New York is 17), it was the start of something that would last nearly a decade, she told the outlet, and which included threesomes with numerous other women, including Farrow.

Engelhardt seems to still view her relationship with Allen in a largely positive, if complicated, light.

“What made me speak is I thought I could provide a perspective,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m not attacking Woody. This is not ‘bring down this man.’ I’m talking about my love story. This made me who I am. I have no regrets.”

Both Allen and Farrow declined The Hollywood Reporter’s request for comment, and neither have issued statements on Engelhardt's claims.

Over the course of eight years together, Allen never discussed his work with Engelhardt and they kept their relationship largely private, only ever meeting at his apartment, an arrangement that Engelhardt had no issue with, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“I was a pleaser, agreeable,” she said. “Knowing he was a director, I didn’t argue. I was coming from a place of devotion.”

After Engelhardt and Allen had been together for a year, Allen began arranging threesomes with two “beautiful young ladies,” encounters she described to The Hollywood Reporter as “interesting — a ‘70s exploration.” When he began dating actress Mia Farrow four years into his relationship with Engelhardt, Allen introduced the “Rosemary’s Baby” star as his girlfriend, something that shocked Engelhardt, as she considered herself his girlfriend.

“I felt sick. I didn't want to be there at all, and yet I couldn’t find the courage to get up and leave,” Engelhardt wrote in one of two unpublished memoirs, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “To leave would mean an end to all of this. Looking back now, that’s exactly what I needed, but back then, the idea of not having Woody in my life at all terrified me. So I sat there, patiently, calmly trying to assess the situation, trying to understand why he wanted the two of us to meet.”

Allen, Engelhardt, and Farrow went on to have a “handful” of threesomes and smoke marijuana together. Engelhardt eventually grew fond of Farrow after the two bonded over a shared interest in astrology and animals, she told the outlet. Allen would famously go on to marry Farrow’s adopted step-daughter Soon-Yi Previn, to whom he’s been married for more than 20 years now, in a controversial move that inspired sympathy in Engelhardt, she said.

“I felt sorry for Mia,” she told The Hollywood Reporter. “I thought, ‘Didn’t Woody have enough ‘extra,’ with or without her, that the last thing he had to do was to go for something that was totally hers?’ He had groomed Mia, trained her, to put up with all of this. Now he had no barriers. It was total disrespect.”

Allen and Farrow have long had a contentious relationship. Shortly after Farrow discovered the director’s relationship with Previn, their adopted 7-year-old daughter Dylan Farrow claimed that Allen sexually abused her, an allegation that prompted the child’s pediatrician to go to the police. Allen was never charged, despite being the subject of an extensive investigation. He repeatedly denied abusing Dylan after the claims became public knowledge and again in 2014, after Dylan reiterated her claims in an open letter on the subject.

The accusations surfaced after Engelhardt had already cut ties with Allen, according to her timeline. After eight years with Allen, she grew tired of her relationship with him and left New York City, she told The Hollywood Reporter. She went on to work for (and allegedly inspire) famed director Federico Fellini, and brush elbows with supermodel Iman and businessman Adnan Khashoggi. Engelhardt, who now works as an assistant for producer Bob Evans, believes herself to be one of many young lovers who probably inspired Allen’s 1979 film “Manhattan” and the on-screen relationship between Allen’s character, a writer in his 40s, and a 17-year-old high school student.

“I thought I was special, and then I realized [Allen is] a big person and he’s got a big life — I’m in his life,” she said of her decision to leave the director. “It’s a rainbow with many colors, and I’m one of them.”

Engelhardt and Allen have not communicated since 2001, when he sent her a thank you note after she’d mailed him a copy of a documentary about Fellini that she’d appeared in. Allen suggested introducing her to his wife, but she apparently declined.

“I already had children then,” she said. “I was like — not that I’ve gone square, but my priorities were different. I just wanted to stay away from that.”

Even before Engelhardt's claims of an illegal relationship, Allen continued to be a controversial figure in the entertainment industry amid the growing influence of the #MeToo movement. While his career has yet to go the way of Harvey Weinstein’s, his influence seems to be dwindling. Amazon shelved his latest film, “A Rainy Day In New York,” after initially planning for a 2018 release, and at present time, the film remains in limbo, with a number of actors and actresses who have worked with Allen in the past publicly distancing themselves from him and his work.

SOON-YI PREVIN ACCUSES MIA FARROW OF ABUSE, DEFENDS HUSBAND WOODY ALLEN IN CONTROVERSIAL INTERVIEW

After years of silence, Soon-Yi Previn, the wife of Woody Allen, has opened up about the sexual abuse allegations surrounding her husband, as well as her experiences growing up with her adoptive mother Mia Farrow, in a new interview with New York Magazine.

In the feature, published online by Vulture on Sunday, Previn, 47, defended Allen, who has long been followed by accusations of having abused his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow in 1992, when she was 7 years old. Allen, now 82, has denied the allegations and, after an investigation that lasted more than a year, no charges were filed. Dylan’s story has gained renewed attention amid the #MeToo movement, and Allen’s career has seemingly begun to take a hit.

“What’s happened to Woody is so upsetting, so unjust,” Previn said. “[Mia] has taken advantage of the #MeToo movement and paraded Dylan as a victim. And a whole new generation is hearing about it when they shouldn’t.”

At the age of around 5, Previn, who was born in South Korea, became one of three children Mia Farrow and then-husband Andre Previn adopted in the 70s. Soon-Yi first met Allen as a child, when he began dating her mother in the early 80s, shortly after Mia's divorce from Andre. The two began a relationship when she was 21 years old, after Mia and Allen had already ended their romantic entanglements, according to Soon-Yi (Mia does not agree). She married Allen, 35 years her senior, in 1997.

Mia famously learned of the relationship when she found graphic nude photos of Soon-Yi on Allen’s mantel. In her recently published interview, Previn called their affair “a huge betrayal on both our parts, a terrible thing to do, a terrible shock to inflict on [Mia].”

“I know this is no justification. But Mia was never kind to me, never civil,” she said. It was partly the lack of affection from her adoptive stepmother that led to her relationship with Allen, later on, she said.

She explained, “Here was a chance for someone showing me affection and being nice to me, so of course I was thrilled and ran for it.”

Previn described her upbringing in Mia Farrow’s household as one colored by abusive experiences. Mia “wasn’t maternal to [her] from the get-go,” she said. She later recalled instances of Mia teaching her the alphabet using wooden blocks only to turn violent: “If I didn’t get them right, sometimes she’d throw them at me or down on the floor.”

Previn went on to claim that Mia’s alleged abuse included slapping her across the face, spanking her with a hairbrush, and “[tipping her] upside down, holding [her] by [her] feet,” because she believed that it would make her smarter. Previn’s story is similar to that of her adoptive brother Moses Farrow, whose lengthy account of his childhood, published on his blog earlier this year, accused his adoptive mother of numerous methods of abuse, including, on one occasion, hitting him “uncontrollably all over [his] body.”

Mia’s alleged abuse was also verbal, with Previn claiming that the actress and photographer called her “stupid” and “moronic.”

Farrow's other children have criticized the piece after its publication. Dylan Farrow took to Twitter on Sunday to criticize the outlet for publishing a “one-sided piece” full of “bizarre fabrications.”

“I have a message for the media and allies of Woody Allen: no one is ‘parading me around as a victim’ — I continue to be an adult woman making a credible allegation unchanged for two decades, backed by evidence,” her statement continued. “My only hesitation has been the way my mother is targeted as a result, as is the case here. Shame on New York Magazine.”

Ronan Farrow issued a statement on the piece via Twitter on the same day, calling it a “hit job” designed to “vilify [his] mother to deflect from [his] sister’s credible allegation of abuse.”

“As a journalist, I'm shocked by the lack of care for the facts, the refusal to include eyewitness testimony that would contradict falsehoods in this piece, and the failure to print my sister’s responses,” his statement continued. “Survivors of abuse deserve better.”

Wait, did I just read that right? Mia and Woody engaged in threesomes with a 16 year old???
Ugh, both of them are sick, twisted, revolting pigs.

It says Christina Engelhardt was 16 when she started a relationship with Woody and then 4 years into their relationship he started dating Mia Farrow. That would have made Christina at least 20 years old when the threesomes took place.
